Trupanion. The best. Period.
Always so fast! Such a great experience every time. Last summer my pup had a splenectomy and dual mass removal. I had multiple invoices leading up to it and then the biggest invoice was around $5200! Since I had met my deductible for the condition leading up to this, Trupanion paid 90% and I paid 10%. I continue to hear friends talk about their bad experiences with other pet medical insurance companies, it's too bad they didn't get Trupanion. Insure your pets! Do it early! Before they have pre-existing conditions! Thanks Trupanion!

Best insurance that you can customize to suit your needs, submitting claims is easy, and they reimburse me within a few days.
They are the absolute best. I switched over to them after bad service and lack of help from nationwide after my dog tore her ccl and had TPLO surgery. Heathy paws allowed me to customize my plan and submitting a claim is super easy on their app. Within a few days I have my reimbursement, sent directly to my banking account and an explanation of coverage. They also emailed to check on Kaiya after seeing a few specialists due to facial paralysis. They’ve made a very stressful time, much less stressful. I could get her the help she needed without stressing over how I’d afford it!

Every pet needs healthypaws
Our pup got his paws on a bouncy ball and suddenly was in urgent need of emergency surgery to remove it. The costs were astronomical to us. Without healthy paws insurance, it would have been a financial struggle to save our beloved pup. We filed our claim from the veterinary parking lot and within a few days, we received reimbursement to cover a huge amount of the costs. We will forever be a healthy paws fan!

We enrolled when we got our terrier-mix rescue pup in 2013, and have had enough opportunity to benefit from having the coverage that we can say it’s excellent in every respect: multiple ways to tailor the coverage to your particular needs and wallet; easy claims filing online; clear explanations of what is and isn’t covered; fair pricing for coverage (our premium even went down one year!); speedy direct deposit of benefits to our checking account; responsive customer service when we’ve had questions; easily found information on the website - all of it is superbly well done. And we are impressed by the ways in which Healthy Paws contributes to the larger good by donating to and supporting organizations engaged in animal health and welfare. So thankful for Healthy Paws Insurance!
My dog, Brad, just recently had to undergo an emergency surgery. It was a very stressful time for him and myself. As we all know, emergency departments for pets can be very expensive. The whole process of his surgery and recovery was made easier with the reassurance I would be reimbursed for his visit and surgery! The company even reached out to check and make sure Brad was doing okay after his operation. I was reimbursed within a week of his surgery. Formerly happy with Trupanion.
I submitted my claim on 2/6 and it is still pending 11 days later. Also, I just received notification that our monthly premium is getting jacked up next year and I'm not happy. Two people I know use other insurance companies and someday I will switch.
