We took our dog to the nearest emergency vet, and insurance denied full coverage despite us paying 130/month for insurance for YEARS. We did not feel supported and the customer service rep was condescending when we called to inquire what was happening and why there was no pre-approval. As a grad student who has to choose how I spend my money wisely, I am extremely disappointed that I’ve spent so much money on Trupanion insurance all these years. I could’ve saved so much money.

Healthy Paws Saved My Dogs Life!
Just recently, my 3 year old otherwise healthy Frenchton suffered a severe bladder infection. After multiple vet visits and two ER visits, we still couldn't figure out the root cause, so we couldn't properly treat him, and he ended up having to be Hospitalized. The overnight hospital bill alone was close to $6,000 in addition to the $2,500-$3,000 for the multiple vet and er visits prior. Healthy Paws covered 90% of the total, and the claim process took seconds. All I had to do was upload the invoice to my account, and the reimbursement check arrived in the mail in less than 10 days!! If it weren't for Healthy Paws, my dog would not have been able to get the medical attention he so desperately needed.
