Maybe good for major medical?
Claim was paid quickly but it only a % for test and meds but not the visit. They call it a well visit, but if she was well I wouldn’t have taken her????? Don’t know about major medical, but I’m paying 45.00 a month and I have had her to the vet once this year for illness the other visit was for vaccinations and yearly testing which also isn’t included. I am looking into other coverage options.

Every animal companion parent that I encounter I try to convince them to get a Trupanion policy for their dog. People come to me all the time for advice when their dog seems to be sick. I have been a loyal trupanion client for 13 years. I know how the policy works. Several people have bought a Trupanion policy after talking with me. When someone tells me that they are getting a puppy I immediately go into my Trupanion policy sales pitch. So yes I am always recommending Trupanion. Vanessa was very pleasant. But I made an adjustment to one of my dogs policies and it has yet to be changed. Your company raised my 13 year old dogs monthly premium by close to $20.00. So in order to keep within our budget I had to change her deductible from $250. to $500. In these trying times due to Covid families are struggling to make ends meet. That increase is the biggest we’ve ever experienced in the 13 years being clients. Vet visits are way down in our area because most veterinarians are still doing curbside services and are not comfortable having their animal children go into the office alone. We lost two of our precious babies during this time. Laryngeal paralysis and Cushing’s disease. Both diseases are devastating to go through. Thankfully we were allowed in the building for appointments and also to be there when they crossed over. I’m thankful for Trupanion’s help with their medical bills . I’d never use a different insurance company. But please be more honest about the reasons that you are raising monthly premiums. The lives of our animal children depend on our ability to be able to keep them insured. My sister in law is a State Farm agent and sells Trupanion policies. I have no doubt that Trupanion took in millions more than they paid out so far during this man made pandemic.

I need coverage that I’m not getting
My dog has a constant problem with the anal glands not expressing on their own. I understand that this is not covered in the insurance plan. However, it is an ongoing issue that comes out of my pocket every month.
