All insurance is confusing, but Trupanion explained a lot of what they do in language I could mostly understand. Also, their coverage is much better than the majority of competitors. I was on the fence about getting pet insurance due to the cost, but thinking ahead to what even a few illnesses or accidents would cost made it an easy decision!

I am so thankful I chose to get Trupanion insurance for my little guy. ?? Honestly, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. I don’t know what I would do without it. It’s definitely worth it, and I highly recommend it!

Trupanion is the BEST pet insurance company EVER!!!!!
I learned about Trupanion through my Veterinarian's office. I read the brochure, and then contacted Trupanion. I took out coverage on my two Rottweilers after their Veterinarian examinations. I never wanted to need coverage for any condition, but after a year+, both of my Rottweilers had medical issues. My older Rottweiler, Jovie, was diagnosed with (OCD). Osteochondritis dessicans, in both hocks. She needed diagnostics; surgery; stem cells, & supportive braces. My younger Rottweiler, Evie, was diagnosed with (IBD). Irritable Bowel Disease. She needed diagnostics; surgery; hospital care & medications. Every claim I submitted to Trupanion was covered, 90%, after the deductible was met. All I had to do was submit an invoice for treatment. Not only that, Trupanion paid for each claim in 24-hours after submitted!!! I love Trupanion. They give me peace of mind, and allows me to get the best medical care for my pets.

Cheaper to self insure. They do not pay out on claims.
I adopted a pittie mix in November of 2020. I am writing this review in December of 2021. In the past year we have had several vet needs from diarrhea that persisted for several days, a limp that developed and an inflamed teat. I submitted 6 claims during that time and only one was actually paid. I ended up canceling my coverage because it was simply cheaper to self insure seeing as how I was paying a monthly insurance fee along with the vet costs. Every claim was rejected due to 'pre-existing condition'. I would not recommend Pets Best Insurance as they don't seem to pay for services.

I am glad I had Pets Best Insurance.
Our 6year old punky got very sick, she spent four nights and 5 days in an Emergency Hospital ICU. Surgery, medications, tests and more tests. All of this was quite expensive and Pets Best paid their share. Within days of turning in the claims most of the money was back in my bank account. I have no complaints.The coverage I have on two dogs is a small price to pay.

Because any treatment even slightly or remotely related to Missy's "cough" isn't covered. I got insurance to prevent me from paying out so much money to a vet and so far $2000 later I'm still paying YOU and the vet.
