Purchase the Pet Insurance!
Kalispell, or "Kali", is my husband and I's first dog together. She is such a lover but gosh - it truly feels like she has been involved in something crazy every other month. We secured pet insurance when we first adopted Kali just for peace of mind when entering this new phase of life but now - almost a year in of loving our Kal girl - we are SO grateful that we did. Accidents happen and things change quickly. Having Pets Best Insurance has been such godsent for us personally that we've decided to never own another animal without the security that it provides. Thank you! We are so appreciative!

Easy and fast
Ease of claim and satisfaction with the amount refunded
Monthly preventatives
Pets best makes filing claims easy and worth the monthly payment. I had to buy heartgard for the first time and within days I had a refund for part of what I paid. It was so easy to upload documentation.
Bear decision ever!
PetsBest is the best decision I made. My 3 dogs have needed expensive surgeries and I would be broke without PetsBest. They pay quickly and never question a treatment as long as you provide all the info they need.
Quick and efficient, easy to claim
So quick and easy to file a claim and the money came back so quick. Monthly payments are not expensive and are quite worth it.

Horrible
I should have learned my lesson from my previous experience with MetLife pet insurance. They are horrible to work with. They take forever to reimburse for a claim. Your premium is always going up. They make excuses as to why something isn’t covered. Just a horrible company to have pet insurance through.

Te Ata herniated disk surgery
Te Ata herniated a disk between C3 and C4 and was paralyzed. She had to have triage, xrays, intial MRI, 3 hours away, emergency care at Oklahoma Veterinary Specialists and surgery. All completed within 30 hours, which was the key to success. Knowing that I had Pets Best insurance that paid 90/10, I never worried about the expense we were going to have. Pets Best even covered the Sports Medicine rehab and acupuncture. With so many invoices and records, it did take a little longer than usual. Received all payments combined within 30 days. Any new invoices that still pertain to rehab is usually paid within a week. Would not change for anything. Pets Best has been very good for my doberman kids"
Policy Increase
MetLife increased my policy by over $700 a year. They are stating that this policy that I have no longer exists therefore I have to pay the price for it. I called multiple times they did not want to help me except for wanting to reduce my coverage which I do not want to do that was their only option. Their customer service was terrible I was lied to a couple of times by customer service and I was told that if I did not want to change my coverage then there wasn't anything that they could do for me since my policy that I have doesn't exist anymore

Worst
I have a lot of complaints about the claims through this company. But to make it short I pay for insurance that does no good. I am better off putting the money I pay them into savings to use at the vet. They are difficult to work with.
Disappointed After 16 Years – Outrageous Premium Hike
I’ve been a loyal Embrace Pet Insurance customer for 16 years, insuring six different animals through them. Over that time, I rarely used the insurance, but I paid consistently, trusting they’d be there when I needed them. That trust is now completely broken. Out of nowhere, they’ve raised my monthly premium from $237.46 to $478.99. That’s more than double. Their only suggestion? Lower the coverage on my 16-year-old cats. Seriously? After all these years of loyalty and minimal claims, this is how they treat longtime customers? I’ve never experienced anything like this before, even with pets that have aged or passed. It feels dishonest, and it’s unacceptable. I’m pulling my remaining pet, Shiloh, off their policy immediately. I refuse to go through this again as he gets older. I’ll be switching providers and removing any positive reviews I’ve left in the past. If you’re considering Embrace, think twice. If anyone has recommendations for a pet insurance company that doesn’t do this, please share. I’m done with Embrace.
