Very easy process for the claims process. In reviewing cost, they were lower than other companies when you compare deductible and the amount they allow each year. Very helpful when you have to call them directly by phone.

Do not use healthy paws
Healthy paws was a great company years ago. Now they constantly raise rates with no reason. This time my pets insurance went from $180 a month to $375 a month. We started at $80 a month. They also try to say they need your pets medical history but aren't receiving the files. I literally sent it 5 different ways and I did not receive a confirmation until I told them they would be speaking to my lawyer Do not use this company, there are so many options these days.

I was paying a high premium each and
I was paying a high premium each and every month for my two dogs and that is now increased up to $120 a month for both my dog. This is the second time I tried to use my insurance I’ll pay for something which is what you get insurance for in the first place. First time I was denied the second time now I only got less than half had to pay $250 deductible, which is crazy after all I pay each month.

Be prepared for lonnnnggggg delayyyyysss
For starters, I've been with PB now for over 3 years, this is a systemic problem! I recently submitted a claim for my dogs ongoing internal inflammation treatment. While Pets Best's policy coverage is straightforward and the premiums are reasonable, the claim processing time is a major problem. It takes an average of 2-3 weeks (or up to 2 months in some cases) for reimbursement, even when all documentation clearly outlines that the claims stem from one condition. My friends with other providers like Healthy Paws get paid out in as little as 24=48 hours after approval, or Lemonade in 24-48 hours—that's the kind of efficiency Pets Best needs to adopt to stay competitive. Overall, 2 stars; great potential, but the slow turnaround is unacceptable for pet parents dealing with urgent health issues

Embrace is a scam
Embrace is a scam - they keep your "wellness" contributions if you dont' use it within the fiscal year. The wellness savings is marketing as a savings plan for your pet, but they don't give customers any warning about using the funds timely. They claimed they give customers verbal notice only of it. They not have over $200 of my money that is just for their own pockets. Cancelled my insurance with them

Very poor reimbursement rate
Very poor reimbursement rate. Many exclusions. Submitted $315 for an annual visit with vaccines and 1 antibiotic, received $60 back. Did not accept initial adoption with vaccine invoice bc it was over 3 mo deadline. Terrible value for the cost.

They nickel and dime every single claim and don't expect 90% back.
They nickel and dime every single claim that is sent in. They do not reimburse 90% of the bill. They decide how much is allowable for your area then they give you that amount back. So don't expect to get back the 90% they say you get back. They will raise your premium every other year but when it comes down to paying out you need to jump through hoops. I used to recommend this company but not anymore.
