Nationwide is hands down the best pet insurance out there!
From the amazing "Wellness" coverage (which most DONT offer but it's amazing!) or an Accident/Illness, like the recent visit to the hospital, Nationwide has been the best decision I made when I got my pup. Thank you for making the claims process SO easy and fast with online submissions and electronic payment. It's always stressful when something bad happens, but it was such peace of mind knowing I would be covered for whatever he needed with Nationwide, and without any added stress. Everyone should have pet insurance, and I'd gladly recommend Nationwide to anyone who is looking! THANK YOU!

Great Insurance plan with excellent customer service and reimbursements
I love the flexibility of this plan. You can patronize any vet or medicine supplier. Coverage is very good for the money, and reimbursements are quick. The app is really easy to use. Any time I have had a customer inquiry, their service has been great! Highly recommend!

Overall such a blessing

Definitely worth it
I’m so glad I have the insurance, my dog has really bad allergies and the pills with injections are very costly. My dog had an accident at the park tripped on a hole and messed up her leg pretty bad. Nation wide paid 90% of the surgery. When it rains it pours, months later my dog was limping on the same leg. The screw that they put in there was being rejected by my dogs body. Again another costly surgery. I’m so glad I was able to say do whatever it takes we have insurance for her. She is doing well so far.

It takes to long to receive money
My only complaint is that it takes way to long to receive money back. When visiting the vets you have to pay in full and at times i don’t have the $500 plus extra on hand. It would be nice if it was more like human insurance where we only have to pay what we really owe.

You need pet insurance
Pet insurance has saved my pets’ lives on more than one occasion. My young kitten suffered a potentially fatal urinary blockage, and without a second thought I was able to take him to the hospital and tell them to do anything they needed to do to save him- he was hospitalized with a catheter twice and the third time it happened, within a span of days, the vet stated that he needed a surgery in order to stop this from happening. The alternative was my little kitten’s kidneys shutting down and ending his life. The surgery cost thousands and I was able to move forward with it because of VPI. My cat made a full recovery, is now 3 years old, and I was reimbursed within weeks. In addition to saving my cat, my dog has had a reocurring UTI for over 2.5 months that we are in the process of finding the root cause of- he was recently given the “all clear” of it not being bladder cancer, and we were able to determine that because pet insurance allowed me the peace of mind to make medical decisions based on his health vs my bank account. Within that same time frame, my other dog went into anaphylactic shock in my back yard- another rush to the hospital to save her life and I was able to do it without a thought of the financial burden because of VPI. I’ve been made whole numerous times and my pets are receiving the care they deserve. If you don’t think you need pet insurance for your young or seemingly healthy pet, please research all that this company offers- it isn’t just for accidents. They cover injury, illness, even routine visits. Keep your pet healthy and have that peace of mind!!

Finally found a pet insurance company that does what it says it will do!
My new kitten required a hospital stay after her spay and left me with large expenses. To date Nationwide has paid $1800. back to me. I am so grateful to find a pet insurance company that actually makes a difference and doesn't mislead you regarding benefits.
