Best pet insurance I have ever owned
I really like this company, my Baxter has been insured since he was a puppy and at 9 mos old broke out in hives which started his on going typical boxer wheat and poultry issues. They have been great and I like my Major medical plan I have, this insurance help me to be able to afford all of his special needs. This will be the only pet insurance I will ever own, I also had it on his mom and dad too.

Absolutely the Best!
We absolutely love Healthy Paws! This is hands down the best pet insurance there is out there for your pets. Recently we were told that our dog Tony had to have surgery. For a lot of people surgery is often very expensive and not everyone can afford to have it done. Sometimes people have to make choices between saving their pet or trying to pay off a large veterinary bill. Because our dogs are insured through Healthy Paws we knew that Tony could have the surgery that he needed and we wouldn't have to worry about not being able to afford it. Healthy Paws offers various deductibles and reimbursement plans that you can fit to the needs of you and your pets. Having had several dogs in the past who had cancer or heart problems, and having had to pay thousands of dollars to try and save them, we had decided that with our new dogs that we would carry insurance on them so we could make sure they always received the best medical coverage they could get. Healthy Paws has made that possible for us to do that. We highly recommend this insurance.

Reliable company with good customer service
We've been through some pretty tough times with our dog's issues over the years, Embrace made it much easier to deal with the financial aspect. We're grateful to be able to have pet insurance.

So Glad I Switched
I have had both of my dogs insured since they were puppies and Nationwide is the third insurance I have had. I switched after seeing information on it at my vet's office and then comparing my current plan to their quote. Every contact I have had with them has been fantastic. Their coverage is superior to anyone else out there for a comparable price and they pay claims very quickly. Only thing missing is submitting a claim online through the website but you can email it which is good. I highly recommend Nationwide!

Reimbursement
While I appreciate that there is insurance to begin with, and that I normally have no issues with Nationwide, there are times when their reimbursement policies are out of line.

Most recently I'm questioning whether paying $110/month is a worthwhile investment.
Most recently I'm questioning whether paying $110/month is a worthwhile investment. My recent claim was denied and I feel like this is likely to happen again in the future.

Great service but am disappointed to find out that prescription food is only covered 90% of the price of half of two bags.
Great service, but am disappointed to find out that prescription food is only covered 90% of the price of half of two bags. I feel if a disease is diagnosed, and the food is medically a part of the solution, it should be covered until the condition is corrected, or life-long if required.

I used to have same insurance for other 2 pets .
I used to have same insurance for other 2 pets ... now you have totally changed the deductible to per ailment which is totally insane and a huge rip off to us( the consumer who are trying their very best to take good care of our pets...). Even for the lifetime of the pet.. it’s not fair that my two dogs are 10 and their lifetime is really almost over so to make their deductible at $450 an ailment is really ridiculous. We pay you good money each month and getting nowhere. No one has been understanding or logically looking into this as I have made several attempts to explain this dilemma to a few representatives. A discount on two pets or reduction due to the age should be taken into much consideration. I used to recommend you to all of my pet owning friends and aquaintenences—even strangers in pet stores... but now... no more. We will most likely discontinue but unfortunately hold on thinking what if something worse happens to one of them. But to be honest for the amount we have spent already maybe we would just be better off continuing to pay the very expensive vets and just wing it since we never get any reimbursement due to the extreme deductibles. Maybe someone can offer us a better deal after reading this ?? Thank you for listening to a sincere pet loving and return customer for the 4 th time but now very disappointed in your plans.
