healthypaws helped me to save my dog
Upon rescuing my Sadie, I thought pet insurance would be a good way to be covered in case something terrible were to happen. I knew in that case, I would be able to focus on getting her better instead of wondering about money. She has been covered since 2016, and each time something has cropped up with her since then, healthypaws has helped me to be able to take care of my girl. Being a college student is already so expensive, but it was 100% worth it to sign up with them. Had I not, I would't have had the funds to cover the last 6 months worth of emergency visits from Sadie's new diagnosis. Our vet bills in just the last month have been over $2000.00, but because of healthypaws, I have been able to take the best possible care for Sadie. Although she is still working on getting better, I have no worries, that I will be able to provide the best medical care. Thank you healthypaws!

Great price, hassle free insurance
I've had to file a few claims with ASPCA insurance, mostly for small things, but each claim was easily submitted through their app and reimbursement taken care of through direct deposit within 2 weeks or so. Never had any hassles over charges or denials of claims. Price was one of the best for insurance. I'm very happy to have them as my dog's insurer.

Love my coverage!
This is my first time getting pet insurance and my experience has been fantastic! The coverage for my dog's wellness exams, medications, shots, and even a surgery have been great. The claim submission is very easy to do and I was reimbursed in a timely manner. I am very happy with Nationwide pet insurance!

Worth Every Penny!
I have to commend Nationwide on their reimbursement program for pet insurance. I have the total wellness package and my french bulldog, who is only a year old, has needed to use it several times, unfortunately. Nationwide has been top-notch in getting my claims processed and money back into my account in a timely manner, thank God!

One of the Best decisions I ever made was getting Trupanion Insurance on Jax (Sheltie)
I have had this insurance for about 5 years now and so glad I got it. My sheltie, Jax has had issues with his liver and allergies. Trupanion has been there for me every claim I have submitted I get a response back that they received my claim the SAME DAY. With in about a week to 10 days I receive my check. They are totally AWESOME. Kim Cox Waldorf, Marland

Pets Best Insurance made it possible to obtain early diagnosis and thus prompt and appropriate treatment.
Easy to file claims, prompt payments and excellent explanation of coverage/not covered items. Early and correct diagnosis is essential to successful treatment. I could not have obtained that for my puppy without Pets Best. We are so grateful.

This insurance plan is worth every dollar spent on it.
I've never had pet insurance in the past for my dogs but with Dublin we thought it was worth looking into and based on recommendations from other pet owners we decided to sign up. It is worth every dollar spent and the coverage has been more than I expected, especially for the wellness portion. So glad we took the "plunge".

Couldn't be Happier
I have had the Whole Pet with Wellness plan for my dog Gracie for about 2 years and I couldn't be happier. Claims are always paid quickly and with direct deposit being available, the funds are in my account in a couple of weeks. This plan covers 90% of the bill, (minus the sales tax) after satisfying a once a year $250 deductible. So many plans exclude exam fees, wellness visits and have per incident deductibles. I am very happy with this plan and the peace of mind it gives me knowing I can always get my dog the best veterinary care that she needs.

Lifetime vs Annual
Very displeased with the way deductibles are calculated. Most companies it is annual. This company does lifetime per illness/injury type. They do it as it is more cost effective, they forget to mention "for Them" not the client. I've had Pet insurance from several companies who used the annual method. How Trupanion calculates deductible is lifetime per illness sort of. For instance my dogs have been through Giardia a couple times this year. I've spent over $530 of approved charges on treatments. You'd think after the lifetime for giardia of $200 per pet, I'd be getting money back. Nope Each incident with Giardia starts a new deductible once they are "cured". So I'm paying premiums for insurance I will never get a benefit from. Its about 80-$100 for meds and tests, they don't cover the doctor fees. I had Trupanion recommended but I will now be changing as fast as I can get my dogs on a different companies plan. I would not only not recommend, I would recommend against it. if they use the hey we cured you once, your deductible you will never get any benefit unless there is a serious injust they can't decline for some other reason.
