I took out the insurance as a precaution
I took out the insurance as a precaution on my pet in case of injury. When she got sick, I was in a panic on how to pay for her vet bills. The insurance company was extremely helpful in assisting with the mounting vet surgery bills and treatments. I would recommend pet insurance for any person who has an animal.

Best thing in did
I have gone back and forth for years - do I get pet insurance or not? I finally did and I am sooo grateful I did. Unfortunately my yorkie was diagnosed with heart failure and although nothing can help the sadness, having pet insurance is helping me give her the best care possible till she does have to leave us. The initial claim with PetsBest takes a little while to process but then everything is super quick. I get reimbursed straight into my account within days of submitting. This is a huge help.

I never really thought I would use it until ...
As a first time dog owner I was naive to all that is involved in caring for a dog. My dog became a member of my family (not just a pet). Trouble started right away unfortunately, my puppy Tommi Bahama kept getting urinary trac infections. We tried 4 different meds to finally get rid of that. Very soon after though we noticed she wasn’t walking right, yep, hip dysplasia! She needed a new hip and was in some pain. I was totally devastated. I found doctor to do hip replacement surgery. Thank goodness for the pet insurance through ASPCA. The monthly fee is nominal compared to what my veterinarian bills were. Believe it if not, as she was healing from her hip surgery she broke her leg. Again, thank goodness for my pet insurance through the ASPCA!

Terrific and Timely....
So, I have had pets for 40 years. No insurance. Now,with a new puppy and young cat, I got insurance --- accident/emergency for cat and wellness and accident/emergency for puppy. Well, we had a wellness check and they reimbursed a goodly portion of the bill and quickly. Amazing. Remarkable.

They exceeded my expectations.
I had my 2 cats insured for several years without a need to file claims, suddenly last year they both developed serious age related health problems. I came close to losing my male cat. If not for good insurance coverage which made his treatment affordable I am sure we would have had a different outcome. Both kitties currently doing well and thriving. I am so glad I found Pets Best several years ago and had it in place shen we truly needed it. The app is so easy to use and the claims are processed promptly. The payment is directly deposited in my checking account. I couldn’t ask for anything easier.

Great investment
When my boyfriend and I brought home our first puppy everyone told us how expensive dogs can be, especially as puppies when they tend to get into some trouble. I purchased Turbos Embrace policy when he was about 3 months old and although he's extremely active, he never chewed furniture or ate anything he shouldn't. He's now 10 months old and I've debated with myself weather it was worth it to keep this policy when he's such a well behaved dog. About 2 weeks ago, Turbo out of the blue decided to eat three pairs of underwear. He had radiographs, an ultrasound, and an endoscopy to ensure he would be alright. Embrace paid the claim within 10 days time and I am edtreamly satisfied with their service. I would highly recommend pet insurance to all fur-parents out there!

Absolutely the best decision I’ve ever made for me and my pets
Having a Dog is one of the best things that life offers. My dogs are the only family I have. I wanted the best care for them possible and vet bills can be extremely expensive. Their health is extremely important and a top priority! I was searching for pet insurance and I was referred by a neighbor to Nationwide. They not only had the best to offer but have been extremely nice and personal when it comes to my fur babies! They really do care! I’m am extremely grateful for Nationwide and will continue to refer ALL of my friends with pets to them! Thank you for all that you do Nationwide! Insurance very good idea
I took my puppy for spay and remove extra teeth. Trupanion covered 90% of the dental surgery as well as part of expenses of the spay as they were shared for both procedures. Plus that my Vet has direct billing was a big help in such an expense. Thank you a Trupanion!
