Great Insurance, Love the Vet Helpline - super helpful and useful, Minor Challenges with Employer Deductions but think that is on the employers end and not nation wide's end. Would love to be able to get an emailed version of my statement and account info (especially so I can send it to my employer and make sure they settle it after they've been deducting the money from my paycheck). I just switched jobs and want to continue my insurance but first need to have my employer settle my past due bill.

Good coverage, but it only pays a small part of the bill
Having pet insurance is great, as is not having to pay all of our dog's medical bills. However since Nationwide took over from VPI, I have noticed they are paying an increasingly small part of the claims. This makes the coverage less useful and erodes the peace of mind the coverage has provided.

Nationwide has been a great investment for my dog! I go the extra mile for my companion. We go to class once a week. I feed a healthy, balanced raw diet. We exercise daily and go to classes on Dock Diving, Go Team Therapy training and do the Alpha Challenge. Hannah stays healthy with the help of Nationwide! I chose Nationwide because they came highly recommend by my clients that have their dogs insured with them.

Excellent
Our golden retriever, Louie, has been battling a cancer diagnosis over the last year and with the help of Nationwide Pet Insurance, she is doing incredible. When we first learned of her diagnosis, we were at a complete loss as she is so important to our family and we knew we would do anything to get her healthy again. We fortunately have had the insurance for Louie since she was a puppy and it allowed us to utilize the absolute best cancer fighting technology we could find at Colorado State University. She is doing great and we really appreciate the quick turnaround on reimbursement for claims and wide range of coverage. thank you!

Great coverage for those not-so-great incidents
Nationwide has covered the majority of the 'casualty' issues my pal Nicky has encountered in recent years. I'm not great about remembering to submit paperwork fast, but Nationwide still processes their end in a timely manner. I have been pleasantly surprised by the amount of coverage Nationwide has reimbursed.
