So thankful to have found this company...
I originally purchased this after reviewing many companies for my one cat who is sort of the Runt of the Litter. He developed a disease called megacolon and has had several afterhrs overnight ER visits for this condition. He is on long term meds and food. This insurance is awesome. They paid promptly and have been such a great relief. All three cats are now on the insurance and I am happy for the peace of mind it gives me.

Very nice, but a little slow.
My dog had 3 back to back trips to the vet. He is in an English Bulldog so this is not uncommon. It was nice that even though the visits were so close to one another that nationwide was able to payout on all 3 helping alleviate the cost of the medical bills for my awesome puppy. He is only 4 and has a lot of life left in him. And with the help of nationwide I will be able to make it a bit longer. Only thing I will say is it took the full 30 days BUT I am not sure if this is because all of my claims were so close to each other. Will update if they ask me to if I only have 1 claim.

My dog has a "pre-existing condition" and "secondary conditions",so not a lot is covered.
Not covered for $10,000.00 of "pre-existing" and "secondary conditions". So, not entirely satisfied with the insurance companies.

This is the best pet insurance company out there
This claim was reimbursement for some Rx food and drugs for maintenance on my cat. I also submitted a visit for an ear problem for one of my cats. I originally purchased for just one of my cats but have been so pleased with the value for the money and the ease of the process, I now have all three cats on this policy. I recommend it every chance I get to other pet owners. This is the best pet insurance company out there.

Process is very easy and quick! Just wish you got more back. The most recent visit I paid 220$ and only got $25. More should be covered.

Wellness Program and regular insurance
Wellness is not worth it on any of their plans. Submitted $200 claim and received $75. I can put the $20 a month into a saving account. I will at least be able to pay the whole amount off. I cancelled this policy and opened a saving account. One catch is that I also own a wellness and health plan for my other dog. You have to meet the deductible (whether wellness or regular claim). I was told that wellness would be like the other plan. I will be moving to another company as soon as this policy expires. I have met the deductible for this year so at least I am covered.
