Thankful for the coverage Nationwide offers to help keep my fur baby healthy!

Having pet insurance has been such a huge help, financially, for us. Especially within the first 6 months of our puppy's life. Those vaccines and wellness checks add up quickly. So having Nationwide cover a lot of those expenses has offered a big relief. The only thing I wish was an option is a puppy specific coverage plan. The first year of life for a puppy brings a lot more vet visits and medication (vaccines), so I capped out on my insurance coverage within 3 visits, and even then had to pay a lot out of pocket to cover the remaining expenses. I am grateful that in the years to come, as these vet visits and annual vaccines lessen, my puppy will still have coverage. It brings a peace of mind knowing that I have help financially in case anything major were to happen, also. And I will say this - Nationwide offers the cheapest premium with the best/most coverage available in comparison to other companies.

Gives you ease of mind

I have had the Nationwide pet insurance for over a year, and can confirm they make it very easy to use and submit claims, and definitely worth the cost to maintain insurance. You have peace of mind for your pets health. I did a lot of research before choosing a provider, and I think I made the best choice!

Overcharged for 2 years and there is "nothing they can do."

I have been with Petsecure since 2015. I am a veterinary professional and was receiving a veterinary discount on my plan when I originally signed up. I noticed my rate had gone up significantly and that they stopped applying the discount in 2017. I was told they called and left a message (which I never received) checking to see if I was still a veterinary employee. When I asked today what they could to to rectify this situation I was told there was "nothing they could do now." Over the last 2 years I have been over charged approximately $400 due to their mistake. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. The customer service is horrible.

Well worth the price

Very pleased with Pet best. They have been there for me. I don’t mind paying the deductible for my dogs. I am so glad they reimburse me for prescriptions and illnesses. My dogs mean the world to me. Thankyou Petbest!

Peace of mind.

Best pet insurance!

We are so lucky we bought our pet insurance through Nationwide. Never predicted the ongoing allergy problems our beautiful AKC boxer puppy would experience and thankful for the help we have received with our vet bills, enabling us to try remedies we may not have been able to afford. Assistance with the special hydrolized protein food was never expected and appreciated as well.

So far, so good!

First and foremost, I have experienced nothing but great customer service. I filed my first claim and it was taken care of quickly and easily as expected. I would score a 10, however some points are lost for the fact that my premium increased after 1 year, substantially. However, because they have great customer service, they worked with me to figure out a way to make it work and for that I am thankful and grateful. The key will be the following years.

Appreciate the help

We're glad that Nationwide came through to help us out with unexpected vetbills as we learned out dog had had a couple teeth require extraction, and a abcess in his mouth. The financial payment helped us tremendously as we had other unexpected vet bills for another of our dogs that month.
