Unbelievable insurer
I pay a lot for my dog's health insurance and was considering cancelling, because he's a young dog. But I was lazy and didn't cancel and then he got sick and without Trupanion there to help defray the very high cost of his diagnosis and treatments, I am not sure I would have been able to sustain him. I'm very grateful. Also it's a no pain method. You take pictures of your claim sheet and the doctor's itemized bill and email those to claims@trupanion.com. WIthin two weeks, you have an answer. In my case, almost always positive!

Wonderfully easy, nice customer service too!
Love this insurance so far, easy and simple to navigate... It does take about 4 weeks for reimbursement, but they have come thru as promised on everything. Very happy customer... Having this kind of protection has taken the worry away. Now I can just enjoy my beautiful flattie.

My Bernese mountain dog is the same dog I insured when I started my insurance with you.
I was happy with this company until they raised the rate by $10 a month. That was quite a raise. They went from $29-$39. When I called and asked, they sent me a PDF of all the reasons why they raised my rates. I paid my bills on time and I did have some claims this year. I will look for another insurance. I despise insurance companies that raise rates when you start out, when there a puppy.

Planning to switch insurances
The insurance sold is misleading. On the webpage where you buy the insurance, it describes a bunch of things that it covers, but there is a lot of small print and they don't end up covering a wide percentage of the total bill. For example, it said it would cover vaccines, but then it only covered the first $25 of vaccines that my pet got in a year. I am waiting to get out of this plan so I can switch to another company.

Plenty of coverage and easy to use
I am very pleased with this company. The people are so nice, and seem genuinely concerned about your pet. The price is comparable to others, but I think the coverage is very good. The claim process is SO easy. You can do it all online if you like. There are many options too depending on what you want to spend. Overall, I am very glad that I have this. So far, I have used this for doctors exams and follow up, and meds. But we have a surgery scheduled now. And I feel like this is one thing I won’t have to worry about.

This is a great insurance policy and company
I have had this insurance policy for my dog since he was a puppy and it has come through for me every single time. The claims department is efficient and fair. Most of us issues are “routine” but every now and then something comes up and I have never had a problem presenting a claim and having it handled in a timely manner. That’s what you buy insurance for, the claims department. The coverage is excellent and I think the premium is reasonable

Definately a must have insurace
This was the best decision after getting my dog at 10 weeks of age. She is now almost 5. She has had MANY trips to the vet for various reasons. The cost I pay per month is so worth it. I get generally 50% or more back after paying for her visit.

Wish We Didn't Need it
We all wish we didn't need insurance for our pets, but then something happens and we all hope for a company like Embrace. Peyote needed surgery to correct a shoulder issue. Embrace gave me the peace of mind to know that Oti could have the surgery and I could concentrate on his recovery as opposed to figuring out how I was going to pay for it. Now, he is in rehab to get back in tip top shape and Embrace, once again, is putting my mind at ease. Can't say enough good things about them.
