Piece of mind & TOTALLY WORTH EVERY PENNY!

Oh boy! Where do I start! My first year of dog ownership I have done at least 10 claims and I think I'm close to my annually max of 10k. ASPCA insurance has saved me sooooo much money and the claim process couldn't be easier. Also every time I speak to anyone they are all soooo warm and friendly and I truly believe they care!

Great coverage from a great company.

I can’t say enough about the value of pet insurance. My ten year old beagle mix was diagnosed with cancer and thanks to Nationwide I was able to give him the best care possible without thinking about cost.

Let us focus on care

Our sweet pit mix had a malignant mammary mass earlier this year. We had to make a decision about what level of care we could afford, and knowing that Nationwide had our back allowed us to pick the best option for our girl. The bill ended up being $1,000+, and Nationwide covered a big portion of it. The surgery was successful and everything is back to normal, including our finances :-) All three of our dogs are covered by Nationwide, and it's such a relief knowing that they'll be covered in case of emergency or bad luck.

Ridiculous premium increases

I began using Pets Best in 2009 when I rescued my dog in anticipation of increasing medical needs as she aged. She was 3 years old at the time and Pets Best premiums and coverage seemed reasonable. In her lifetime, I've made a total of 7 claims. 2 were denied and 4 were made this February as my aging dog has had several cancerous tumors. Nonetheless, Pets Best' premiums have steadily increased over the past few years; over $200 per month in 2017, to over $400 in 2018. I continued to pay because my dog's medical needs were increasing but this month I received a notice that they would increase again to over $600. All told Pets Best has paid out less than $5,000 in my dog's lifetime and at this point, when she most needs coverage, it's unaffordable. Total Scam!

Life saver

Excellent. We probably would of had to put our dog down if it wasn't for embrace. Unfortunately our dog has had many medical issues. It is so expensive to give her the care she needs without the help of embrace.

Financial Blessing

Vet care, like medicare for humans, is expensive and having this insurance lets me make certain I can afford everything Aria and my other cats need to be happy and healthy.

I renew every year

Been your customer for 7 years. I renew every year even though the cost keeps increasing. I checked other companies, they are more or cover less. So why change. You have always treated us great.

Soooooo glad we have your insurance!!

When I’m at the vet I talk about how great your insurance is to other customers in the room. So good to know that we will get almost all of that money back. We can feel comfortable about procedures the vet feels are necessary.

Still waiting on payments from 2015 - I wish the company Veterinary Pet Insurance had never been bought by Nationwide

This is the first claim paid with any kind of ease. To consider any charges now in 2019 N’wide asked for all vet records since 2014 and the policy was bought in 2015. With N’wide the cost increased, the deductible increased, and the benefits decreased. I can show claim documents dating before N’wide bought out Veterinary Pet Insurance (VPI) and now so u can see the difference. My mixed lab just turned 5 and the price increased by 33% per month to $42. With VPI the monthly cost was only $60/month when my purebred Boxer was 13. Based on the rate increase I can expect to pay $100+ per month when my lab mix is 13. I am having a bigger issue with the policy for my second lab mix. I have sent every record and bill I have. I have even signed a authorization to release information form so N’wide can request info from the vets. They have yet to pay $0.01 since policy inception in 2015. No payment for his fractured tibial crest when he was young to his emergency vet visit at age 4 due to persistent vomiting. I have received no communication in 3+ weeks. We have a 3rd dog and we will not get pet insurance through N'wide for her

Helping Sookie

It's nice to have the peace of mind for my pets health. Knowing the cost isn't what I need to worry about really allows me to focus on getting/keeping my pet healthy!
