I highly highly do not recommend this insurance. We purchased this insurance the day after we purchased our puppy and thought we were in the clear when he experienced health problems, however just like most insurance companies they always find a way to get out of paying your claim. This insurance claims they will cover the costs of vet visits for UTI and ultrasound just to name a few, but guess again they won't. Get this insurance if you would like to pay extra money for no reason on top of your already expensive vet bills otherwise, look elsewhere. There is a reason this insurance is cheaper than others and it shows. I wish I would have known prior to so here I am warning others after me.

Outstanding coverage and customer service
I have been extremely pleased with the covered expenses for the care of Kenzie over the past year, the accurate information always provided by the customer representatives in a professional and caring manner, and the ease of processing claims and receiving reimbursement. As a retiree I was surprised by the big increase in premium for my second year and hope that won't happen each year in the future.

unexpected benefits and ease of claims
When we got insurance we never imagined we would need it so soon. Our dog is only 2 1/2 years old and up until not she has only been to the vet for some scrapes and infections. Out of nowhere he was injured and we were looking at over 3500 in bills. We submitted our claim using out phone and three weeks later they approved our claim just like that. No questions. Our dog is doing better and our relieved that we can use that money we saved on something else as I am on disability and we our on a fixed income.

We couldn't believe how amazing the coverage was
My husband and I are absolutely thrilled with the coverage we have for Rory. Our savings took a hard hit with Rory's emergency surgery and Nationwide gave us an incredible refund. We are very happy and feel very lucky especially because we do pay for the less expensive insurance a month (emergency only insurance). We are very happy knowing that we have really great coverage.
