We had a bill for over 3,000 for test and medicine for our little Charlie, who was a very sick girl. Thanks to Trupanion, we only had to pay about 800 of it. She's on the road to recovery because we could afford to get the tests and meds she needed.

Very Satisfied with Pets Best
This is my second year with Pets Best and it will definitely not be the last. My claims are processed promptly, with detailed explanation and according to the contract. The extra services are a plus. I have used the vet chat when needed a rapid response with Pets issues. Definitely worth every penny.

Policy price increase
Recently I was notified ta there would be a policy price increase and the increase was to be across the board on policies and had no bearing on the amount of claims one had. Well I recently received my policy renewal and to my shock of the increase is putting it mildly. I expected maybe a $15 or $20 per month increase, however that was not to be. The increase in my policy was for 155% of my last years monthly premium! This was astonishing and definitely has myself considering evaluating my renewal of said policy. I went from $76 per month to $118 Nationwide should definitely be reviewing this increase of rates. My review is for good service as I have received good service however this price increase is out of line and a hard pill to swallow at such a drastic one year increase! At this time I would caution anyone looking into the Nationwide pet insurance strictly do to their absorbent price increase.

With the Whole Pet with Wellness Coverage, I feel able to provide my pet with the best care that they need.
Having the whole pet coverage is a little pricey, but I feel all it takes is one incident over a 5 year period to completely make the coverage worth paying for. Reimbursement for major accidents comes quickly and i'm confident to provide my pet with better care without having to worry or make the hard decision of whether i can afford a $6000 surgery. Based on previous expenses I've incurred due to a very ill dog that began deteriorating due to a spinal condition, I'd recommend starting coverage early on in your pet's life to avoid pre-existing condition conflicts. It really takes the stress out of taking your pet in for major issues, such as the bilateral ACL tears my current dog encountered this year. I expect to pay a certain amount a year minimum just in necessary and routine vet expenses, and the Nationwide premium seems like it will even out over the course of several years.

Best decision I've made to enroll in Nationwide pet insurance!
I had thought about pet insurance about a year ago and then never got around to enrolling. When I finally did, I was kicking myself for not doing it sooner! Vet visits can get very expensive, even if it's just a routine annual wellness visit. Throw in antibiotics, vaccinations, and regular flea/tick and heart worm meds and things really start adding up. The insurance costs for this year have already paid for itself within the first 9 months of enrolling. I don't know what I would have done to pay for the vet bills this year if I didn't have Nationwide. And the mobile app is super easy to use and very quick to submit a claim.
