Great insurance, disgusted that my premium doubled
In 2008, I purchased insurance for our now late dog, Calvin. The premium was about $37.00 a month. At some point I upgraded and the premium went up a little. After we lost Calvin we adopted Wrigley and our premium was about $67 a month. It then went up to about $78, and this last jump went to $131 a month. Sadly, if I want insurance, I have to stay with you. Your insurance is very good, but I would not ever recommend it to anyone because my premium almost doubled with the last rate increase. I called and was told that it’s just the way it is.

They Really Care for My Dog
Thank you for what I feel like is true care for my dog! I know Insurance is a "business" but thank you for treating me, and my dog, better than any other type of insurance I have ever had; and that includes health, car, home, and rental insurance! If you're considering pet insurance go with Nationwide because they have been worth every dollar spent...and I have a healthy dog!

Highly Recommend Nationwide Pet Insurance!!
I highly recommend Nationwide pet insurance to everyone! It has helped save us so much money from the vet care that our dog has needed. When we found out that our 2-year-old dog needed to have knee surgery, we were only able to afford it thanks to Nationwide. We were able to pay for the surgery and get 90% of the cost back thanks to our Whole Pet Wellness Plan. Not only that, but Nationwide has also covered all her post-surgical care, such as physical therapy. Also, any time that I have called customer support with questions, they are so friendly, helpful, supportive, and genuinely make you feel like you and your pet matter to them. I suggest that every pet owner sign up for pet insurance through Nationwide as we couldn't be happier!

Having Nationwide pet insurnace allows me the freedom to take excellent care of my dog all year long.
I never have to decide between whats best for my dog and cost, because with teh whole pet insurance plan, when my dog has something wrong, I call or visit my vet, who is the expert , rather than googling it myself and hoping I do the right thing. Im extremely satisfied with my Nationwide insurance plan .

Proper vet care without financial worries.
Athena had become a very picky eater and also developed an issue with intermittent loose stool. She has also lost weight. We took her to our vet who was concerned that something more serious than just being picky was occurring. Our vet wanted to do a number of tests to rule out hereditary issues as well as any tumors. I trust our vet very much and wanted to do what was best for Athena. I knew that these tests would likely be expensive but I did not worry because I knew Athena had great insurance that has not let us down. We did the tests and luckily found nothing serious. Turns out Athena likely has a food allergy. We are testing with other foods and she is very happy and on her way to be 100% healthy.

Excellent customer service and efficient claim processing
I have been with Nationwide for two years now and I'm very pleased with the claims processing and customer service. The customer service is exceptional, the reps are professional, polite and knowledgeable. The few times I needed to contact customer service I was very happy with the conversations and results. I highly recommend using Nationwide for Pet Insurance, policy cost is reasonable and reimbursement is great and competitive if not better than other pet insurance companies.
