Pet insurance is worth it!

Pet insurance is worth it because it has been helping me with my budget. I know Toffee the small dog needs his own pet insurance in his life.

Excellent Customer Service at the Best Price!

I actually set my limits of $250.00 deductible, 90% reimbursement, and $5k max then made phone calls to 8 different pet insurers. Prudent was not only the best rate but I even added the Healthy Benefits option which was still lower than the 2nd lowest. Working with “B” (first initial only since each CSA was very nice and pleasant), was great plus any other rep will offer the same services.

This is the worst pet insurance I've…

This is the worst pet insurance I've ever bought. Don't waste your time and money on Pets Best, especially with so many other options out there. The premium was outrageous--over $200 a month for illness and wellness policy. And even with those policies, the insurance refused to pay nearly all the claims even those that were for services listed in their policy. They use "pre-existing condition" to justify claim payments just like people insurance companies used to do before the federal government outlawed discrimination based on pre-ex. Pet insurance is completely unregulated and this provider takes full advantage of that fact to scam consumers into paying for coverage they will never be able to use. It's disgraceful.

Hopeful

I just hope I can save a bit. i not sure why the plans change so much with the age of the dog. I would have like the option to which payment option from monthly to annually later. I just hope I receive a good return on this plan as this is an additional expense in a really unstable time.

I’ve had this for about eight months…

I’ve had this for about eight months now paying about $60 a month. I rescued this little guy from the shelter and he had been trying to get out of his crate there and had a little hair loss at the top of his head which was noted when I took him in to get a check up, took him in for a yeast ear infection, and somehow that is related to the hair loss and is not going to be covered. I also had an issue with him having diarrhea and the doctor treated it with probiotic instead of medication because they treated it with probiotic insurance will not cover the visit so I am not having much luck with them. I’ll be surprised if they ever pay for anything if I keep them.

My rate has doubled over the last year

My rate has doubled over the last year. Some of my claims have been denied on dubious grounds. The claim process has required me to upload docs previously provided by my vet or my claim would be denied. Im highly likely to leave for a more affordable insurance in the near future.
