Recent claims processed as expected

The 2 recent claims were processed as expected. However, a previous claim was denied. I appealed the claim, but it was still denied. I don't agree with the decision. I am unsure if I will renew with Pets Best. I am looking at other options. I received my renewal, and I will make my decision before the due date.

Cheryl was very nice.

Cheryl was very nice. I was more disappointed in 500 deductible for each incident per each dog. I have 2 dogs under this policy.

Not Happy

I have switched to PetsBest 6 month ago. My dog was insured since she was 2 years old. Previous company was fine but they are going to raise monthly premium and decided to change company. Unfortunately my dog having allergies and took to veterinary and spent around $500 for 2 visit. I did filed claim on time and got $0. They absolutely horrible company. They simply doesn't want to pay. I shouldn't change the company. I am regretting now.

Easy As Pie

Claims were super easy to file, and the they were settled quickly to our satisfaction. Our previous policy with ASPCA was nightmarish- always a lowball payment (usual and customary). Figo pays the Invoice amount, less your choice of deductible and Co Pay. Vet fees in our area are higher than other parts of the country, so Figo’s reimbursement structure is great. It’s hard enough when your pet is having major surgery and is very ill, it’s so nice not to worry about the expense of it all. Definitely a 10!

THE BEST PET INSURANCE!

We rescued our pit a year and a half ago and I researched every pet insurance I could find. Figo was offering the most coverage for the lowest price. Since then I have had to file 5+ claims and the process using their app couldn’t be easier. Not only that but they close and pay the claims within days and my recent ones have been closed within hours of me opening them!!!! I couldn’t ask for a better pet insurance!! One time I also had to call customer service to ask a question before I filed a claim and they were so nice and competent and helped me get answers quickly.

Trupanion is the greatest, my clam was fiished is a record amount of time and allI did was send in a receipt for care.

This is the best insurance going for pets and very affordable. I always recommend Trupanion to everybody I talk to. Thanks for caring and taking care of my Bama,s care. You may use me as a reference time.

The seemingly endless rate hikes and lack of transparency at Healthy Paws are very disappointing.

I have been a Healthy Paws client since 2014 and my rate has gone up every single year. My rate went up 15.5% from last year and has gone up a total of 57% since I first joined. I was notified through a February email from “Jennifer at Healthy Paws Customer Care” about the most recent increase that would occur in April. I reached out to the corporate office where Liz informed me that the increased rate was reflective of the increased veterinary cost and claims in my area. I stated that in my community of pet owners we had not seen anywhere close to a 15% increase in vet costs over the past year and would like to see some documentation to reflect their claim. Liz stated that would not be a problem and that I would receive documentation the following week. No one ever got back to me so I followed up through the inquiry form on the Healthy Paws website. My continued follow-ups have yielded emails from Beth at Healthy Paws Client Services apologizing for delays in providing my documentation request and stating that she will reach out to the team/manager handling the request. My rate has now officially gone up and still no documentation or other satisfactory response has been provided other than to reiterate that the rate hike is due to an overall increase in the frequency of high-value treatments (again, without documentation). My dog just had his annual at the vet where costs hadn’t increased at all from last year let alone by over 15%. Meanwhile my neighbor’s pet insurance rate from a different provider, which began at a similar cost to my own, has not gone up at all in the last 5 years, let alone by over 50%. The lack of transparency and seemingly endless rate hikes at Healthy Paws is very disappointing.
