best decision
we have 2 puppy pugs and 3 cats. after pet ownership of many years and many vet bills throughout the lives of prior pets, with the addition of the “puglets”, we decided to ensure all of them. we purchased preventative and sick coverage for dogs and just sick coverage for the cats. at this point, the financial benefits for the dogs coverage is no question..well worth it this year. foe the cats, with just sick coverage, it has been well worth for piece of mind. we are no longer scared to go to vet (for at least financial reasons)

Nationwide is the worst lying ist insurer
We bought Nationwide insurance on our 2 Pug Brothers at 5 months old. 2 & 1/2 years later we called ( a 35 min call) about palate surgery we were told they’d probably cover a part of surgery partial diagnosis, and meds. Our Vets helped bill Nationwide with diagnosis they’d pay for. THEY COVERED NOTHING. AFTER WELL OVER 2&1/2 years of premiums with not one claim waiting until we needed help with surgery? Nationwide? THEY PAID NOTHING. NOT A PENNY. 35 minute cal? ALL LIES. THEY COVERED NOTHING. SADLY OUR VETs DIDN'T TELL US NATIONWIDE NEVER PAYS CLAIMS FOR 98% of they’re bills. We learned 2 & 1/2 years of policies on 2 dogs? NATIONWIDE PAYS NOTHING.

We all joke all the time the the dog has better insurance than we do! Will always purchase a Nationwide policy for all of our pets in the future but we’re hoping Quinn is with us for a long time!

Good insurance
We have 2 dogs, ages 8 ( pure bred mini poodle) and 14 yrs old mix bichon/poodle). We’ve had ASPCA pet insurance for 8yrs now. After our first poodle passed, spending almost 5,000.00 on medical bills, we received a brochure in the mail about pet from ASPCA! Was the best thing we did for our dogs!

This insurace has been great
My Man nee is having bone growth problem in his front legs which required surgery. I did the worst leg first and all went well. Having the insurance coverage really came in handy as this problem was covered. The insurance also helps with the normal vet visits. I am so happy I am with ASPCA

Trupanion is a good company.
I chose this score because I think Trupanion is a good company. The only complaint I would have is that I wished that preventative care such as annual vaccinations and check ups were covered.
