so glad we have Nationwide Insurance!!
Our sweet 3 year old English Lab, Rosie, recently came down with the potentially fatal salmon poisoning and it was a scary 3 days. Thankfully we did have pet insurance and never had to worry about the cost: which was close to $3000.00: our policy is fantastic and paid most of our bill; Phew!! Thanks Nationwide for being there for us and our wonderful Rosie:))

HealthyPaws Saved My Dog's Life!
Where to begin... we rescued an adult German Shepherd a few years ago, and enrolled him in Healthy Paws right away (like my other dog). That was the best decision I've made, as we are now the proud owners of a "$10,000 dog". Yes, $10k. That's how much his vet bills cost to save his life. My male german shepherd had difficulty breathing, and had a pneumothorax from an unknown growth on one of his lung lobes - long story short I had to rush him to veterinary ER for emergency open heart surgery to remove the mass on his lung and fluid/air buildup. I remember calling Healthy Paws from the vets office literally shaking after the vet told me it was going to cost close to $10 grand to save his life. The customer service I received over the phone was amazing - they verified they would be here and boy were they! Quick claims processes, and I was able to make the right decision. Instead of being unable to afford a $10k vet bill, we paid the diagnostic fees and 10% of all medications and surgical bills (and his long vet stay). Healthy Paws is worth every penny - you're buying INSURANCE as RISK MANAGEMENT, so the $100 I pay per month for both my dogs is well worth it. Healthy Paws customer here for life.

After having previously owned two dogs without health insurance, we wanted to try a plan that would help us in covering the costs of our new puppy's health care. Almost 8 years later, we are so glad we did! We got both injury/illness coverage and it has been a great help!

When we got Kona, our new Lab puppy, we figured we better get insurance on him, and boy were we right! So far in his short 5 month life, he has been to the vet 5 times including 2 ER type visits. The piece of mind that comes with having insurance for him is priceless. after the vet visits, the insurance claims were processed quickly and fairly, and with the direct deposit option, we have received the claim reimbursement within one week of the vet visit... Incredible! We are so glad we have insurance and couldn't be happier with the service we receive from Nationwide!

Prompt, fair, and responsive--that's Nationwide.
I am very pleased with Nationwide. I have three companion animals of different ages. I no longer worry when I bring Artful Dodger, Finnegan, and Nugget to the vet. All treatments authorized by my wonderful vet (Dr. Allison Massenzio), are covered by Nationwide, which responds promptly when I am entitled to an insurance rebate. I recommend Nationwide to EVERYONE. (On the negative side, I find the e mails I get somewhat unhelpful....but that is a small complaint)
