I’m so glad I decided to go with this insurance policy! It not only saved my baby, but also saved my pocketbook. The claim process is super easy and I had reimbursement back within two weeks. I’m very satisfied with the service!!!

Thank goodness for Nationwide!
My dachshund woke up one morning unable to move her back legs. We rushed her to the vet who immediately sent us to a neurosurgeon. Her disc had ruptured putting pressure on her spinal chord and blocking the signals to her back legs. They were able to do the surgery immediately which I wouldn’t have been able to afford without Nationwide insurance. It was the best decision I ever made to get their whole pet and wellness plan .

REcent shoulder surgery
I was very pleased with the speed it which to claim was paid. I had the money in hand before I even received the bill and almost all of the bill was covered. It helps make the decision for medical care a no brainer when I don't need to be concerned that the dollar amount is going to have a huge, negative impact on my budget and my ability to get my other pets the medical care they need.

BEST pet insurance
I’ve got both my dogs on Nationwide Pet Insurance and I’ve had great experience with them thus far. One of my dogs recently had an injury where she fractured her bone. Since she is a small bread dog, the healing process consisted of one multiple X-rays, vet visit and one surgery which was very costly. Nationwide Pet Insurance covered 90% of ALL expenses and reimbursed us within a short period of time, often within days of submitting the claims. We are thankful to have enrolled our dogs in this pet insurance as it’s exactly as its advertised if not better. I highly recommend Nationwide for all pet owners and will get it again for my future pets. Thank you for loving my pets :-)

A couple years ago, I decided to get pet insurance for my year-old kittens. I could find no clear comparison between companies—it was worse than car insurance. I opted to go with Healthy Paws based on a friend’s personal experience. Later that year, one of my girls was diagnosed with renal disease—quite rare in a female year-old cat! She now sees a specialist every few months to monitor progression of her disease, and Healthy Paws has been there every step of the way. I can’t imagine how I would handle these life-long expenses without Healthy Paws. And when—not if—she requires surgical intervention for blocked ureters or a blocked urethra, I know I’ll be able to handle the cost because of Healthy Paws. I recently adopted my former foster kittens, and they each got a free month of insurance with another company. However, this other insurer has yearly and annual caps on payouts. I canceled their coverage and returned to Heathy Paws. It was wise, as one had a major emergency last month and ended up in pet ER. His visit and follow up care would have exceeded the yearly cap of the other insurance. However, with Healthy Paws, I knew I didn’t have to worry. Should another emergency crop up, he’d still have their protection. This is why I continue to use Healthy Paws. They protect me so I can protect my pets.

Healthy Paws was the best decision we made
We rescued our first dog in September 2019. My friend told me about Healthy Paws and I signed up. The sign up process was easy and the rates are very affordable. Little did I know 3 months later Carl would need surgery. We had many vet and ER visits before the surgery. This was a huge expense we weren’t expecting.The claim and payment process is easy and straight forward. They followed up to see how Carl was doing. I would highly recommend Healthy Paws!

Great insurance! I rated a 8 out of 10 because of the monthly cost.
Excellent insurance. Easy to file claims and very quick to reimburse for vet visits. I rated a 8 out of 10 because of monthly cost. I understand that the rates go up with age and he's over ten years old however his pet insurance is almost what I pay for my health insurance( what I'm responsible to pay along with my employer). Due to his age I really can't look for cheaper ones because now things will be considered pre existing conditions. I'm not interested in changing my coverage to lower the cost either. I like my actual plan that I have but I think anything over $100.00 a month is expensive
