Nationwide is the best insurance. Over the last 2 years they have really improved the speed of their reimbursements which is AWESOME! You get it usually within 3 days even big ones like my dog’s huge knee surgery. We love Nationwide and will use them for every one of our pets.

Verbal quote and assurances about coverage were not true; very costly bit of misinformation
For several years, I had Nationwide (started under its former name, VPI) for another dog prior to Rusty and then a premium plan for Rusty which I believe cost $60/mo during last year's policy period. When it came time to renew for this policy period we are currently in---AND ADD A (NEW TO ME) SECOND DOG)--It appeared his same coverage was going up to over $90/month. In lengthy research at renewal time and then in a lengthy phone call with a man at your company (his name is in my records from last year), I was told significant factors, mostly cost, predicated the huge increase. I explained to the man that Rusty had to go to vet every three weeks for an anal expression and I wanted to be sure he would still be covered when I went down to the medium premium. He said, "All existing conditions will be honored." When I asked him precisely about coverage for that process, he told me it was covered and I would see full details in the documents that would arrive by mail after I renewed. I COULD NOT ACCESS THEM ONLINE AT THAT TIME HE SAID. Now I add Star's policy and everyone at my vet's office was horrified as I was told by your company that the heartwrenching diagnosis of heartworm we incurred this year WAS NOT COVERED. The office cited three insurance companies that do cover it. These policies I currently have do not even coverage basic prevention practices, among them vaccines and monthly prevention dosages for heartworm---WHICH I AGAIN WAS TOLD THEY WOULD---- It is for these reasons and for the very very very disappointing misinformation ( a kind word is being used here as is the intent of the whole tone of this letter--but make no mistake--I am disappointed, angry about the costs I paid for insurance that was fairly useless when I was told otherwise) your company provided to me, a fairly longtime customer, I am resuming research for companies that will provide me adequate coverage and actually advise me correctly before I purchase it. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED AND FINANCIALLY DAMAGED, Susan, Rusty and Star

I’m so glad that I glad I got pet insurance for both of my dogs. Recently, Laney had to get surgery for a skin growth by her behind. Had to get it removed by laser procedure. It was costly, but having this coverage really helped. Especially that currently not working. Thank You!!!

Pleasant surprise in time of stress.
I did a lot of investigating before deciding on Embrace, I liked the way I could make the policy fit what I felt were my needs while hoping I would never need to use it. After several years of insurance the need did arise when my Rottweiler developed a disc protrusion on his spine requiring VERY expensive surgery. While my main concern was for my dog it was a major relief when Embrace stepped up to the plate with no hassle covering his treatment. The claim process was very simple and very fair, I was pleasantly surprised. You never really know how good any insurance policy is until you need it and Embrace proved to be very good.

Best decision I've made for my pet!
This was my first time getting pet insurance. I was hesitant at first to get it because I figured when the time came, I would not be able to be reimbursed for a lot of things. However, my cat got pretty sick after he turned 12 and had to have a lot of visits, procedures, and was put on a prescription diet. My pet insurance covered everything! Would highly recommend.

I havent had an issue with trupanion.
I havent had an issue with trupanion. Very quick with reimbursement and very easy to use. It makes me feel very good knowing that if my dogs get sick or injured, I know that I don't have to worry about what the cost is. I can focus on my pets being taken care of.

HORRIBLE customer service
I paid into the insurance and when I needed it to work it didn't. Also do to the covid-19 there was no help offered. I called and was told the only way for economic relief was to increase the deductible or to cancel and im thinking of doing it. My dog has a skin condition and she needs bathing 3 times a month with this shampoo and places are close to self wash and they don't want to reimburse for her condition. So NO!!!!! I would just pay out of pocket because I have given them almost $2,200 dollars for 3 years now they are like everyone else. GREEDY!!!! They send emails saying that they are here for you and your pet LIES. The way a company treats you in a time of need either your going to stay and keep customers or not and I see i will need to leave very soon.
