Glad I can afford pet insurance!
Nationwide is very efficient and timely reimbursements. I have had several very unusual claims ie Lillie Belle ate my grandsons mountain biking gloves and they were in her stomach for over 6 months. Emergency surgery saved her. If I didn't have insurance...I would have had to put her down. Peanut most recently had a corneal abrasion and it has healed fine due to excellent vet care.

Excellent Coverage
Easy to apply for coverage. Phone rep. Answered all my questions. Submitting claims: I can do on my phone with ease. Unsure how premium compares to other pet insurance companies. They have never given me a reason to look.

Relieved to have Nationwide Insurance
We signed up for insurance for our Keuper in April 2016 for piece of mind, and we are so thankful we did. With insurance you pray you never need to use it and we REALLY wish that was the case now but sadly Keuper was diagnosed with osteosarcoma the beginning of February, it's terminal :( We are beside ourselves and as terrible as this experience is, we are absolutely relieved to be able to work on a treatment/hospice plan without having to be concerned about the cost. Taking the money factor out of this is a true blessing. Nationwide has reimbursed 90% of all our claims since the diagnosis, such a relief.

Healthy Paws! best pet insurance
I have been with Healthy Paws for 5 years with one dog I picked the $250 deductible and 90% coverage. What they cover and how much the reimbursement is, I believe, is clear to understand. My young dog has needed several surgeries and procedures which they have covered as I expected. Claims are easy to make, I use both the phone app and online and sometimes my vet sends in the claims for me, I just email a scanned copy of the bill. Reimbursements are often less than 10 business days. I have emailed and spoken to customer service several times and they are not only prompt with a response but caring and helpful. In the 5 years I have been with them I have only had a few dollars increase unlike some of my friends whose premiums have nearly doubled. I wish my health insurance company was as good as Healthy Paws! Without Healthy Paws, I would not be enjoying the time I am with my dog Sydney! They have saved her life for me!

2 ACL Surgeries in under 12 months...
Our Dog, Merry, tore the ACL in her left leg in May of 2019 while running in our back yard. She shot forward and stopped suddenly, turning around and returning with a pretty bad limp. She ended up getting surgery to repair the torn ACL and she recovered well, with Healthy Paws paying the claim in an impressively short period of time. They were fast and courteous through the entire process. Fast forward to our policy expiration in January of 2020, we expected a huge increase after such a large bill (many thousands of dollars). To our surprise our premiums stayed more or less the same (any increase was negligible). Fast forward once again to Merry's second injury a month or so later where she tore her other ACL (which is apparently common for the second to go shortly after the first) and we had the exact same experience with Healthy Paws. I would highly recommend them to all of my friends and family.

Fantastic, timely service
We have 4 rescue pets & have 3 different insurance carriers. Healthy Paws is the best, they have wonderful timely service. You do not have to wait an extended am out of time for your claims to be resolved. The communication is fantastic & the website is easy to navigate.

Healthy Paws is The BEST!
Healthy Paws is the best pet insurance I've ever had! Easy to file a claim and very speedy in reimbursement! I recently had a bill over 7000.00 for an emergency surgery for my Boxer & was reimbursed 4 days after submitting my claim. straight into my bank account! We have 90% coverage, thank goodness!! LOVE Healthy Paws Insurance!
