So thankful for the pet insurance
I have no idea what my husband and I would of done if we didn’t have this pet insurance. Our pup has had non stop stomach issues among a few other things. Having this insurance makes it affordable to be able to provide our pet with the best care and make it so that we don’t have to worry about if we need to take him into the vet. I highly recommend this pet insurance to anyone who is thinking about getting a dog.

Love Love Love Nationwide Pet Insurance
I am so happy that my sister referred me to Nationwide Pet Insurance. Over the years I have always had pet insurance for all of my pets but I recently found out about Nationwide, when I brought home my newest love, Chloe. Nationwide has the best overall coverage, is extremely user friendly and my claim refunds are deposited into my bank account within a week. I wish I would have known about Nationwide years ago!

You guys are the best! So easy to submit claims and turnaround time is quick. Never had any complaints or issues with this insurance. i recommend to all my friends. Definitely worth the monthly investment. Thanks for checking in on Addi after surgery, she's doing great!

My cat Judo has struggled with upper respiratory issues and bloody sneezing on/off for 2+ years. We've had Nationwide the whole time. We finally got to the bottom of it with extensive diagnostics recently and turns out he has fungus in his nose. :( Thankfully Nationwide covered 90% of the diagnostics (>$2000) and the subsequent 4 month supply of medication (>$1500). We would've treated him either way but Nationwide took a huge financial burden off of our minds and we are grateful for it!

Don't GIVE 10's as nothing is perfect, but we are completely satisfied with the insur. plan, cost climb each year a bit much.
This has been a great plan, altho each year the cost climb is disappointing, our BCBS family plan does not climb the way the, Nationwide Pet Plan climbs and that is a bit disappointing as the BCBS plan for people, really gets used "a lot" more than the Pet's. But Customer service is great to chat with and overall, our pet is healthy, happy is loving life each day!!!!

Having Trupanion saved our dog.
Having Trupanion insurance, saved my dog's life. She became deathly ill with IMHA and the only treatment that could save her life was covered. It was very expensive and our portion of the costs put a dent in our budget, but it gave her a second chance. Today she is doing very well and taking antibiotics, but she will be done with them in a few weeks. We are very thankful

Our Surprising Trupanion Experience
My/our experience with Trupanion has been nothing short of outstanding. Thanksgiving 2019, our dog Jack (large German Shepherd) was brought to the hospital for an 2nd opinion & ultrasound after a two-week life expectancy prognosis by our local veterinary clinic. That night they discovered a massive growth in his spleen & recommended emergency surgery to ease his discomfort. They proceeded to discuss optional potential chemotherapy treatments post surgery, assuming he survived. They discussed costs, at which time I remembered we had insurance with you. I never for a moment thought really much of anything would be covered what with all the fine print, pre-existing conditions, breed & age related fine print, etc. While waiting for the surgeon, I called you to determine what you would or wouldn't cover. I was very upset, unnerved, impatient, scared, & desperately trying to come to terms with everything going on during this crisis. The moment I spoke with a Trupanion representative, she greeted me with a personal nature, calmly & patiently listened to what was happening, kept the hold time to a minimum even while the surgeon came in in the middle of my call, and she was reassuring, kind, and thoughtful. She assured me this was exactly what you (Trupanion) was here for, the treatment would be covered, & not to worry about the chemo treatments because they also would be covered outside of reasonable deductibles applicable to us. Basically, I felt assured that all these years of insurance were not a waste, and this frightening experience was not the time to worry about whether we could afford the desperately needed treatments my Jack required (though I would have done anything necessary). You did not make me have to compromise based on finances. Subsequently, every other interaction I have had with Trupanion has been the same. You have great people working there, they are compassionate and warm and exceedingly kind as well as professional. Lastly, I expected to get hit with a policy renewal charge and again was overwhelmingly surprised when another representative assured me that no, the policy is in place for the rest of his life with no policy renewal premiums. Not only will I recommend Trupanion to a friend or colleague or anyone else who wants to hear it, I already have shared.
