Great insurance company
I have been very satisfied with my decision to get ASPCA health insurance for my dog. At first many people told me that I don't need to bother with pet insurance. In the beginning, I was a little disappointed in the amount I got back for certain routine but necessary appointments, such as check ups and shots, which is why I deducted two stars and gave 8/10. That could be because of what level of insurance I purchased. However, in the last 2 years that I have had my dog, when she has gotten sick or hurt, my insurance has typically covered a majority of the expense, which has been a lifesaver for me. Also, the app is very easy to use and customer service is great, so it's never hard to get information or understand what is going on.

Have had to file 4 claims in the past couple of months and have appreciated Nationwide's system of review and making the process very easy. They applied the deductions, which I was already aware of, and approved at least 90% of the claims after that. SO thankful, as we were not expecting so many emergency situations to come up as they did for our dog Bear. Really glad I joined Nationwide and totally recommend them.

Affordable and quick reimbursement, great customer service!
Healthy Paws has been amazing!! It’s so reasonably priced and affordable and is so easy to submit claims. They are so quick to review claims and just reimburse us through direct deposit! They also sent us an email asking how our dog was doing, since we were submitting of claims due to pneumonia. Best choice we made!!

Great Insurance and Service
I have been a customer since nationwide was underwriting for VPI, more than 10 years. I always recommend to new pet parents and even added my second dog the minute we got him. Over the years several improvements have been made like electronically providing payment, vet helpline, and companion articles with discounts included. They cover what many don’t and have smaller deductibles to do it with. Everyone I have recommended agrees how great the service is, extensive the coverage is and how quickly the process takes. Would highly recommend, it gives you such a peace of mind to have insurance when caring for your fur baby! Thanks nationwide, definitely on our side :)

My dog ate some moldy bread and I cried a lot in the emergency room and wasn't sure if this would work out and was panicking that my dog getting sick would bankrupt me. I felt so lucky that I had signed up for your service and it was so easy and I've been encouraging everyone I know who can to get your insurance. Thank you! My only difficulty was finding out what exactly was and wasn't covered and that really stressed me out. Little did I know I only needed to send in my claim and it would just work. I highly recommend your webmasters make it much clearer what is and isn't covered.

Excellent insurance for an English Bulldog
My English Bulldog has constantly been to the vet for several different reasons including allergies. Nationwide Pet Insurance is highly recommended if you have a dog that is predisposed to having health issues. I am so happy that I purchased health insurance for my dog. I have had to file so many claims for him that I figured they would drop my insurance after the first year. They did raise my premium after the first year...however, I expected it due to the amount of times we visited the vet. I don't know what I would have done if I had not purchase pet insurance. Nationwide Pet insurance has been nothing but excellent and quick to cover claims. Thank you

Nationwide is a blessing
With my pets medical bills in the last couple years, Nationwide has been a lifesaver. The claims process is easy and after the first claim (that one took a while), payment is prompt. And it's nice that you can choose it to go straight to your bank without waiting for a check. I am so happy to have Nationwide on my side.

Medication reimbursement as promised
