I think when I decided to take out insurance for my rambunctious little Luna Blu, my husband was skeptical. But as luck would have it, she managed to do some serious damage to her leg tendon in one of her friskier moments. This injury required surgery that amounted in the thousands of dollars. I filed a claim and to my utter delight Nationwide paid it at 100% less the deductible for the major medical plan. Not only was it paid in a turnaround that would make two-legged insurers' head spin, but they were immensely courteous, helpful and genuinely compassionate about my sweet girl. The icing on the cake was the look on my husband's face when the claim payment came through. He was obviously quite proud of "our" decision to get insurance:) I can tell you unabashedly that I LOVE Nationwide - it's people and it's mission. Thank you so much for your amazing customer service. And Luna Blu is back to normal again - not sure if that is a good thing or bad!
