I am so glad I chose to sign up for Ins with this company!
Was hesitant to sign up for pet insurance after hearing stories of people paying so much each month & still having pay for much at the vet. After the deductible, so far all of our stuff has been paid with no issues! Granted, we've been thankful to have no major issues with our sweet girl but they were helpful on her spay, her teeth, kennel cough & meds! Claims are so easy to submit, I love the app! Have had to call several times for various reasons (not bad) and the customer service has been absolutely fantastic from every person I have had to deal with!! I will certainly be a life long customer!

Fast and efficient claim service
I've been covered by Healthy Paws for many years, including the last 8 for my current cat. I've recently had to submit a series of claims for a recent issue, and the process couldn't be easier. I simply access their website and upload the vet invoice. If they need clarification, I assume they contact the vet, because I've never had to substantiate the claim. Within 2-3 days they have processed the claim and direct deposited the payment into my account. They cover everything except the doc's fee (I have 90% coverage) and there is a $100 annual deductible. And of course they don't cover pre-existing conditions.

I've had Healthy Paws for my very energetic 5yo lab/pit mix since she was a puppy. With insurance, you always wonder if the monthly premium is worth it. Two weeks ago, I was reminded why pet insurance is so important and, in particular, I recommend insurance from Healthy Paws to everyone. My dog suffered a comminuted fracture of her front leg that required a nighttime pet ER visit and follow-up surgery, the out-of-pocket cost of which was nearly $7000 (and which will likely increase a bit with her follow up Xrays, etc.). When the ER vet told me the estimated cost over the phone, I was so thankful that we had subscribed to a generous policy from Healthy Paws. I didn't have to make a difficult decision about whether to go through with the reconstructive surgery (vs. amputation) or to ask friends and family for financial assistance. I filed my claim online the next day, and it was processed and reimbursement sent in 5 days. The online interface is very easy to use and the entire process was seamless and efficient. Healthy Paws even followed up to check on Bo, which I really appreciated. I've been recommending them to all of my friends with pets, and I recommend them to you, too.

When our mixed breed Red Heeler had to have cruciate ligament surgery, we were so fortunate to have chosen Healthy Paws Pet Insurance. The company was comforting through their checks on her progress during her recovery. They responded in a timely manner when surgery and medicine receipts were sent to them. One of their missions is to support homeless pets and that, along with their reasonable monthly premiums, were very important in our choice of this company. We would highly recommend this company to pet owners.

Andrea was very nice.
Andrea was very nice. She answered my questions. I got trupanion because my daughter Lisette had it for her doodle Luna. Luna did not make it but, because she had trupanion she was able to have a little peace of mind.

Outstanding Coverage
I’ve had this insurance just shy of 2 years and not had to use it much thankfully. We recently have had to use for HUGE vet costs to treat Valley Fever, scans, tests, meds and special treatments. Has been a God send to have! Seriously, so easy to work with and submit claims and fast reimbursement. I’m grateful we can treat our boy with the best round the clock care & Specialists and not have such an enormous financial burden to think about. Get the insurance now & don’t let it lapse! Worth every penny of premium knowing my furbaby is covered! My 2 Pits before Vinny have since passed away both experienced Cancer & ACL surgeries & many other medical issues and I had no insurance and paid out of pocket for their care.

So grateful for Healthy Paws!
We are so grateful for Healthy Paws. Our cat’s health suddenly took a drastic nosedive, and we have spent many long nights in emergency rooms, countless vet appointments, and hospitalizations. Without Healthy Paws, the cost of months worth of these bills would have been too expensive to keep up with. We wouldn’t have been able to get her the necessary care she needed to keep her alive right now. She wouldn’t be here without Healthy Paws. I strongly recommend considering Healthy Paws insurance, even if you believe your pet is young and healthy. Our cat is only a year and a half old, had no pre-existing issues, and we were told by her vet she was the healthiest cat they’ve seen at her yearly checkup right before her health took a turn. This can happen to any pet at any age, and you will be so grateful to have Healthy Paws. Thank you so much again!!
