Healthy Paws makes it so much easier to get my dog the care she needs.
My dog has a very sensitive stomach and is on a prescription food. She can go weeks and be perfectly fine, and then suddenly, we are in the ER for pancreatitis or something almost as bad. It's always a dramatic change, and it's extremely stressful because we can't always pinpoint what happened. But having pet insurance has made a huge difference, and Healthy Paws has responded quickly to every claim. I can take a photo of the receipt with the itemized lists of treatment/tests, and I usually just upload from the car before we even leave the office. In the three years we've had our dog, we've *always* met the yearly deductible and monthly fee, so she's clearly a dog who needs insurance. :) Healthy Paws has given us the ability to care for her quickly and without worrying too much about costs.

Nationwide Pet Insurance Is Outstanding!
Nationwide Pet Insurance has outstanding major medical coverage! I compare the cost of premiums every year, and their premiums are always the lowest I find. I have also found their customer service to be excellent. My last claim was completed and the payment deposited in my bank the same week that I filed the claim. I love the new online claim submission option!

Worth every penny
I adopted two kittens and was contemplating getting pet insurance, everyone I spoke to was so happy they did, I was going to put it off and wait until the kittens were older but then I pulled the trigger after reviewing several companies and what they offer. Healthy Paws has been great, one of my kittens was not doing well and a range of tests were needed, hospital stay... needless to say our kitten has diabetes so he will need a lifetime of care. Thank goodness I got the insurance, they covered everything under my plan, yes I had a deductible and a 20% copay, but when I think about what it would have cost without the plan, I would have been paying off care credit for years.

Fast, Simple, and Accurate
I have carried Nationwide pet insurance on Bailey since the day I picked her up at 8 weeks old. Coverage started immediately and after the deductible it covered 90% of everything Nationwide said they would cover. Four and a half years later we are still very pleased. Bailey is very healthy and I have tighter control over her healthcare costs. I wish my healthcare personal insurance was as easy to use and straight forward as Bailey's Nationwide policy. I’m very pleased with Nationwide! I didn’t have insurance with my first dog and the medical bills the last 3 years was unbelievable. I worked a part time job just to keep up. My sister in law told me about how wonderful you are so when I got Buster I signed up the day he came home. I couldn’t be more happier! The turn around time was less then a week on his first check up. I’m so very great full and have a piece of mind knowing I don’t have to work 2 jobs and we have more time to play.

Happy I had pet insurance
My Rollo Noel had a huge amount of large purple cysts in both ears which, according to my vet, could lead to losing his hearing. The cysts were close to his ear drum. Because I had insurance, a specialist was called to my vet's office to operate on Rollo. She was able to remove the cysts and save his hearing. After a month of visits, he is now just fine. I was reimbursed within a period of ten days for this very expensive surgery.

Excellent experience
We rescued our 8th dog about 1 1/2 years ago and decided to try pet insurance. Neither of us had high hopes but our vet admin spoke very highly of Nationwide. Last year our pup had a bout of pancreatitis and wound up in the hospital for 3 days of treatment. Nationwide paid the claims within 24 hours and it couldn't have been easier. They paid exactly what our policy stated and we could spend our time nursing our fur baby back to health. Gave us peace of mind. Any time I have had a question, the Customer Service employees are terrific and very helpful. We are so glad we purchased our pet insurance from Nationwide.

Healthy Paws has been a very wise investment
I bought insurance from Healthy Paws while our dog was just a few months old. We have benefitted from this insurance substantially - a very wise investment. If nothing else, it just helps to pay a little every month rather than getting big bills all at once. But healthy Paws has paid on almost every claim with speed and efficiency. I will always buy pet insurance in the future with any new pet. And healthy paws is my goto provider.
