Good but pricey
Just too expensive. Started at $250 a year and eight years later almost $900 and that’s with a $500 deductible. It’s just too much. Especially when you have more than one dog.

I am very relieved to have this insurance
We spent thousands of dollars on our pets as they aged, and knew we needed help. We would not have been able to continue giving them the care they need. I spent weeks researching pet insurances, and thought Nationwide through my husband's employer sounded like the best option. We've had it since November 1st, and are convinced it was the right choice. I can't tell you how happy we are to have it, and what a sense of security and relief it has provided. No more thousands-of-dollars surprises! The peace of mind is wonderful. Thank you!!

Glad we chose Trupanion.
Excellent - very fast. Easy process to complete on-line. We are very grateful to have Trupanion. The only reservation I have about giving a full 10 is that our premiums have more than doubled in the the 8 years we have had our pup insured. Since she has shown herself to be somewhat accident prone we have kept it up but are not happy about the ongoing increasing cost.

I had some questions I needed answered and called Trupanion. They were very easy to get through to. Kathleen was exceptionally nice. She was very patient with me and answered all my questions clearly. I have not had to use my insurance as yet which I am grateful for but I know when I need to Trupanion will be there for me. I was with another company for 15 yrs but changed due to the exorbitant cost. My Veterinary Clinic suggested Trupanion so that spoke volumes to me! They told me Trupanion is very easy to deal with!

Disappointed
My 3yr. old golden retriever has been by my side during my wives 3yr. battle with cancer and the last 9months since her death. He developed a problem breathing, I took him to my vet to get checked out. I submitted my claim and was REJECTED. I,m trying to decide if I should continue on with TRUPANION! The payments and coverage aren't worth it!
