While the customer service I received while answering a few questions was fabulous I have a very healthy pet (so far) and have not been able to use my coverage.

Although I find your service friendly and adequate there were still some flaws in your policies.

Best Pet Insurance and decision for our bulldog
We have an English bulldog and one day while painting our house he ate the paint, well it cost us $600 plus in 3 hours! I researched all the pet insurance and did comparisons with all of them! Pets Best was the best, coverage, cost, deductible And reimbursement. Bulldogs tend to go to get a little more than most breeds, but for any dog I highly recommend pets best! Take dog/cat to get take photo of bill upload in your file, they reimburse in 2-3 weeks on what is covered. I pay 62.00 per month and have submitted over 1200 or more and it's only June 1,2020. I've received everything back except normal vaccines less 10%, believe me it's well worth it! My husband sees the checks come in and cannot believe it! Best pet insurance ever!!! Do your research! I sure did and chose the best one ’Pets Best” Were happy and Humphrey is healthy and Happy😘

This year insurance has been a wash; other years at a loss.
the cost of insurance has gone from $42 per month to over $100 per month in 3 years. Most things are not covered, but that is hard to tell with the copious amounts of exclusions listed, along with wording your vet may not use. Not sure if it's worth continuing.

Great Pet Insurance
I don't know what I would have done without my Nationwide Wellness Insurance after a tree went through my house and destroyed. Both of my dogs were traumatized and the vet bills started rising rapidly trying to get them back to being healthy. I wish my Maltipoo, who was a rescue, had this insurance but it was too expensive to put her on it. The trauma threw Sophie's system out of whack, her food had to be changed to try and calm down the response her system was having to the disaster. We had to live in a condo for 8 months and they were allergic to the carpet so more visits to the vet, anal glands flared, etc. Thank you for helping me get my little one back to health without me breaking the bank. Yes, expensive but well worth it when you have a problem as we did so unexpectedly! The quick return was great also thank goodness! Pamela

Great company overall.
The only thing I don't like about Nationwide is that they don't offer quarterly billing options.

Pet owners should have insurance for their pets.
I have 3 dogs covered by this company. Recently my Sugar was at death's door and thanks to this insurance I was able to pay of the medical she needed. I strongly advise all pet owners to get pet insurance. It's well worth it.

Very Consistent in Processing Claims Expeditiously!
I have had two dogs covered by VPI and then Nationwide and I believe Nationwide's claims process is very proficient and easy to use. The claims and reimbursement are processed very expeditiously! Very satisfied with coverage - just wish the annual fees didn't go up so high when the dog gets older.

Nationwide Pet Insurance has been good so far for my new puppy!
I have been pleased so far with the ease of use in filing a claim for Louis' first vet appointment. I was sad to find out that a prescription for an antiseptic wipe for his wrinkles was not covered because it was an "abnormality." The wipes were a prescription to prevent issues down the road, so it didn't really make sense to me that this is considered an abnormality. However, other than that, I have been pleased so far. We have his next wellness check in 2 weeks.
