My rate has gone up for the last 2 years.
My rate has gone up for the last 2 years. I understand they take into account a list of factors which include zipcode. My zip code is part of san bernadino county. But even though , I live in the mountains and my dog is a housedog. I wish they would take into consideration the area we live in and not by county.

Currently have an 11 year old cat with a Trupanion policy from 10 weeks of age. At 6 months had a major issue and was grateful that we had coverage. We have just added a new 9 week old puppy. Every person I have talked to at Trupanion has been very friendly and helpful. Claims are processed quickly and efficiently. It is such a peace of mind knowing that if an emergency or medical issue arises that we can do whatever is needed to help our pets!

Fast and fair
My dogs life was sadly short due to epilepsy. Trupanion claims were always fast and fair. I will get another dog again in time and will DEFINITELY sign my next pup up with them again :)

I've never had to use the coverage I pay for each month Yet I find the Monthly policy amount goes up too much each year.

It was very easy to enroll. The price is affordable. I am hoping to be able to say it was well worth it to enroll. My pet is a puppy, so I hope to say you are pet friendly as well.

I am pleased with this pet insurance.
At this point I've had Nationwide Insurance for about 9 months. I am glad to have had it - especially after my dog spent a night in the ICU at the emergency vet's. Once my deductible was satisfied, refunds came quickly with no questions asked. I have no complaints, and I appreciate being able to take my dog for medical care and advice without worrying about the expense.

It’s never too late to start coverage
My husband and I repeatedly say this is one of the best decisions we ever made. We read an article about the benefits of pet insurance. We did our research and Trupanion got fantastic reviews. I was skeptical about the per-condition deduction structure since I thought we’d never reach the deductible, especially since our dogs were already considered senior by the time we started, but it nearly immediately paid dividends. Our dog had an injury that without Trupanion would likely have been life ending. The preapproval and reimbursement processes could not have been simpler or faster. Much to our horror, he re-injured himself less than a year later and the amount we had to pay out of pocket was less than a normal routine vet visit. I cannot tell you the weight that was lifted off our shoulders when money wasn’t even a factor in the decision about his care. Not only is Trupanion’s claim process incredibly easy, they are incredibly compassionate and invested. We got a personal email about our dog and really felt we had a team behind us, rooting for our dog’s recovery! Thank you, Trupanion! We tell everyone we know with pets that they MUST get Trupanion, no matter the age. If your pet is older when you start, you may have preexisting conditions that won’t be covered, but when those big injuries or illnesses come up, it will pay for itself immediately.
