As time unfolds
Times Change but love of pets grows.I’m not able to have digital access. These days are difficult for all , but thanks to Met Life for helping save my girls life.🙏🐾 My only hope would be to use United States Postal Service for any premium or policy changes. Thank you deeply for your help

Usually a fantastic job
Usually a fantastic job. But since their software upgrade, it has been impossible to get into my online account. This problem has existed for at least 3 weeks now. I need to be able to see my account almost daily, as I have 2 elderly dogs with numerous prescriptions and vet visits. The only way I can keep track of what claims I've submitted and their status, is to review them online. This on-going issue makes me wonder if PetsBest ran a beta on this new software long before activating it on the customer's website.

Suggestions for improvement
Please give at least an option to cover exam fees. This is standard for most other pet insurance programs, and can significantly add up over time when not covered. Why was the option to lower the deductible removed? Even if it means a waiting period, this should be an option, as the only way to lower it is to switch to a different insurance, which doesn’t seem to benefit Trupanion. Other insurance programs allow to lower the deductible, sometimes with a waiting period.

Fees increased more than 1,000% during dog's life
I started paying $50 per month for my dog and they methodically increased it every year. When it got to $250 a month we cut the coverage level in order to still afford some sort of coverage. Last month, they increased the rate from $140 to $400 per month. CRIMINAL! Don't fall for it. They exist to profit as much as possible off of you, not to help your pet.
