Spot Pet Insurance has been wonderful…

Spot Pet Insurance has been wonderful through a very emotional time for me. I had to say goodbye to my baby girl Ava unexpectedly. We did everything we could to save her but it just wasn't possible. Spot has made processing my claim a very smooth and quick transaction during one of the most horrific times of my life. I bought insurance hoping to never have to use it but when I did, they were very kind and helpful with what I needed to process the claims. I'm no where near ready for another companion since Ava was my soulmate but one day if I decide to open my heart and home to another fur baby I will definitely be using Spot again.

Horrible Cancellation Support

Not allowing cancellations online is criminal. I spent an hour on the phone waiting and no one picked up. I'm not even churning as a customer - I just wanted to switch from tenant to landlord insurance. The app was too dumb to let me do that, so I had to buy a new policy and cancel the old one. Except they won't let me cancel the old one! There is no reason that after 8 years in business, they haven't built it. This is purely to frustrate customers into not cancelling. I've been using sonnet since 2017, but my next insurance policy will not be through Sonnet. Update 11/13: It took them a week to get back to me by email, and the email just told me to call them. What is this clown show?

Great service

I have nothing but good things to say about SPOT. My pup Bullitt was diagnosed with a luxating patella. The cost of the surgery was expensive. I submitted my claim with the paperwork from the hospital and was reimbursed within a week. Easy to use. Thankfull to have it.

Submitting a claim was so easy! I also appreciated the expedient processing time and the fact that Spot worked with my vet to get my dog's medical history since I wasn't able to provide it. It made dealing with the aftermath of the accident and surgery less stressful and took one more thing off my plate.

Online quote feature bugged out and then it auto canceled my other policy waited on hold forever and after speaking to them they didn't even know why my policy got canceled and were supposed to get back to me and so far nothing a few days later
