Great customer service, great coverage!
Nationwide Pet Insurance (VPI) has been absolutely amazing. I have needed them a few times and having this insurance has allowed me to take my cats to the hospital and get them treated with a cushion of security. They pay 90% of the cost after your yearly deductible and it is SO WORTH IT!! Their customer care is also great. I have never held on the line more than 3 minutes to speak to a person. Everyone I have interacted with from billing to vet questions has been pleasant and professional and truly cared about my pets. After one particular health scare, I called to have a person explain what services might be covered while my cat was in the hospital. The woman I spoke with was so helpful and she even called me back a few days later to see how my cat was doing! I recommend this pet insurance to everyone I know that has pets. PS. They are also one of the only insurances to cover exotic pets like ferrets which is why I initially signed up with them--one of the best decisions I ever made in pet care!

Awesome!!
A little under 2 weeks ago, I took my new pup to the vet. He had a foxtail stuck in his mouth & his paw was hurting from rough puppy play. The Dr found he had a grade 4 heart murmur & an enlarged heart. Just 2 days later, my fur baby died in my backyard. We were & still are heartbroken. I submitted my claim for just under $1000 to Hartville. My claim was processed quickly & finalized yesterday. After my $250 deductible, they paid almost 1/2 my bill!! Charges not covered were due to anything related to illness. I had just started my plan a few days prior when this all happened. Illness has a 14 waiting period. On top of all that, a wonderful woman from Hartville called me last Friday to offer her condolences on the loss of our pup. She was so sweet & genuine. I talked to her like I was talking to a friend. That really meant alot!! And she didn't talk to me about my policy at all. Just a phone call to see how I was doing. Wow! What a fantastic company. I highly recommend them! Thank you Hartville!! ❤️❤️

Nationwide Pet Insurance for all of my pets
One of the best decisions I have ever made was getting insurance for my pets. Nationwide has made it so easy, I simply use the app to submit all my pets claims (I have 3 dogs and 2 cats) and submitting the claim takes a minute or less. The time to receive my response is always very fast. Also, when I have any questions the customer service team is always very polite and helpful. They always answer all of my questions. I am so grateful to have the peace of mind that if one of our pets becomes ill, I do not have to stress about the financial burden; my focus can always be on what we can do to help Abby, Rubicon, Junior, Elliot or Harry.

Nationwide Pet Insurance is one of the best decisions I made for Indy, my dog. He's a beautiful mix between a Cavalier and a Shitzu. He is everything to our family. My boys and I were devastated last month to learn that Indy was in congestive heart failure. We rushed him immediately to our Vet, where after testing was performed, the sad news was delivered. We were all in shock, and worked as a team to help Indy through this difficult time. The medication that Indy will be on for the rest of his life has been a life changing event as we work with the dosage. To know that the only decisions that we had to make about Indy was to listen to our Vets advice and not have to worry about the bills was a true comfort. Nationwide promptly reimbursed me, the claims process is easy, and Indy is doing much better. I can't thank Nationwide enough for helping save Indy's life and allowing us to watch over him and just take care of him. He is truly the best puppy ever, even at 11 years old.
