Best thing I got for my cat

When we got our Maine Coone, my husband did not think a pet insurance was necessary. So I went against him and paid for the insurance myself. We got our cat as a kitten and he was healthy. But it only takes one accident to shed so much money on pets. Almost a year passed and my cat got into an accident. He fell from a high shelf and broke his hip. We had to take him to an emergency hospital and he had a surgery to remove part of his hip bone. The whole process cost us $3000. I never had a pet insurance so I was not sure how to file a claim. Healthy Paws Pet Insurance makes it super easy to file a claim. Their app is also easy to use. After about ten business days, I got a direct deposit into my account that covered most of the cost. I could not be happier. And a rep reached out to me afterward to make sure our cat was doing well. I definitely will continue my policy.
