I couldn’t be happier with this pet insurance. I’ve had several others and had to wait forever for claims to be paid, but Fego is great! We’ve had issues with our daschund for the last six months and it has saved us so much money. Very happy to recommend this to everyone I talked to!

Turnaround Time Isn't Great
I was hesitating giving 4 stars, but as I'm a newer customer, I wanted to be fair. I submitted a claim over a week ago, and I just checked the status of my claim and it still says submitted. It hasn't even been queued for review yet. I've had insurance with two different companies with previous pets, and the longest I ever waited for a claim to be processed was 5 days, but they were usually completed in 1-3 days, and that was a few years ago when you'd expect things to move slower. If they need additional information then that will add on even more time. I'm glad I am only satisfying my deductible and not wait for reimbursement. I chose Spot because I'd been told and had read they have fast processing times. When I submitted 8 days ago and it's not even in the queue yet, I wouldn't call that fast. It still has not be queued, assigned, or reviewed. I only wonder how many more days it will be. The first claim I submitted was wellness, and that took 9 days, but I figured that it was my first claim and the rest would probably be faster. Well, it's day 8 and it's still just sitting there in a virtual pile...LOL

Pumpkin is the best partner in my pet’s…
Pumpkin is the best partner in my pet’s care We have insured four girls with them and we have never had any problems. Most recently, my dog is being treated for a lung mass and they processed my claim overnight due to the severity of the issue, and I did not request any special treatment. I am so pleased and will insure all my dogs with pumpkin.

Straight forward and prompt response on claim
Relatively straight-forward process for a claim. Easy to upload docs. Fetch contacted my Vet and I also forwarded docs. Most of the time gap was due to Vet response, kind of typical. Fetch didn't nitpick. My cat didn't have an pre-existing conditions, so the rest was making the calculations of deduction and percentage, which was done correctly. My claim funds were received in my bank promptly.

My dogs can get all the care they need
I have recommended MetLife pet insurance to many friends and coworkers due to 1) the easy to use app to file claims and 2) the approval of claims. My latest claim was processed in 1 day! I never have to make that tough decision on whether or not to have a test run, medicine prescribed, or procedure done as 80% of the cost is handled by my insurance. As a result, my dogs get the best care they can when they are sick or injured. Thank you MetLife!
