Can’t say enough great things about…

Can’t say enough great things about this insurance! I have had SPOT for 5 years for all three of my dogs. Boy am I glad I got it. My Daschund needed back surgery and SPOT was there for me and my Homer. Highly recommend!

They nickel and dime every single claim and don't expect 90% back.

They nickel and dime every single claim that is sent in. They do not reimburse 90% of the bill. They decide how much is allowable for your area then they give you that amount back. So don't expect to get back the 90% they say you get back. They will raise your premium every other year but when it comes down to paying out you need to jump through hoops. I used to recommend this company but not anymore.

Embrace won't accept your claim if you wait.

Embrace won't accept your claim if you wait. I held on to my receipts from the entire year to handle all at once. They won't accept my claims from earlier in the year because my policy renewed during that time. My pets were covered during that time. They received covered services. There should be no time limit to file a claim.

We recently lost a dog to lymphoma

We recently lost a dog to lymphoma, we didn't have pet insurance. The cost was staggering. We adopted Stormey and knew we were going to get insurance this time. So far Fetch has covered all her medical needs. She recently was diagnosed with a heart murmur, they covered that too. Thank you Fetch for taking some stress off for a stressful time. Good news, its treatable. Thank you again!

Basic plan covers very little

I was misled around just how little would be covered without the Wellness plan, and now I'm left with almost thousands in vet expenses for my kitten that my insurance plan won't cover. To find out that the basic plan covers none of the costs of standard care and procedures associated with caring for a kitten by receiving a rejection notice for my insurance claim was fairly jarring and made the insurance plan feel pretty useless and parasitic. Yes, the details are within the policy document, but they're also buried within dense text, and they were not adequately explained to me when I was signing up for my plan.
