Healthy Paws delivers what they say they will
Healthy Paws delivers what they say they will. Their website lets clients easily compare costs for various annual deductibles and reimbursement percentages. Once the policy is active, they pay what they say they will, no hassles, no arguments. The website makes it easy to submit claims, you can even set it up to have the reimbursement checks deposited automatically into your bank account My 95-lb dog recently underwent extensive surgery for a torn cruciate ligament in her knee, and not only did Healthy Paws cover all the expenses related to her surgery and hospital stay, but they cover all her rehabilitation (physical therapy, underwater treadmill) which is making all the difference in her quick and strong recovery. When I tell our veterinary care professionals that I have Healthy Paws insurance for our dogs, they are always visibly relieved, because they know I will encourage them to do what is best for my pet, even if it is expensive, because I have the support of a great insurance company behind me. The only suggestion I have is that they re-evaluate what they consider "experimental treatments" (which are not covered under their policies). Stem Cell Therapy is becoming more mainstream, and it would be better for my pets if I could consider that type of treatment if the need arises in the future.

Healthy Paws made an awful experience a little easier.
This is our first experience with pet insurance. After the loss of our last dog we wanted to get insurance for our sweet Trooper. Who would have thought he’d go through this injury, but Healthy Paws made our terrible experience easier. Thank God we decided on healthy Paws!

Quick easy no hassle service
My dog Cooper had and issue which required multiple visits to Tufts. When all associated procedures and visits were completed I submitted the paperwork required and received checks in approximately 10 days. All went smooth and hassle free. My dog had a problem once before and the process went just as smooth. I appreciate their smooth and friendly service.

Great Coverage & Really Simple Claims Process
Before I got my 8 week old Great Dane puppy, a friend with a Great Dane suggested I get pet insurance, and full coverage for at least the first year. I'm so glad I did, because at five months old, she was diagnosed with four major heart problems requiring A LOT of medications and frequent visits to her regular vet and a veterinary cardiologist. I chose ASPCA after comparing it with a few other top brands. ASPCA seemed to provide the most in-depth coverage for the rates. In six months, ASPCA insurance has paid out thousands of dollars to cover expensive procedures and medications. The online/app claims process is super easy, and the one time I did have a question, the phone support was great.

Excellent service
I have always had excellent service from Trupanion. There was only one area of care we disagreed on....our late Oscar had a condition which he survived (other dogs didn't) but it affected his nails for life - they all fell off and grew back (extremely painful condition that is 100 letters long) but when they grew back some came in backwards and were very brittle and split easily so our groomer did not feel comfortable trimming them so I had to have the vet do it for 30.00 per time....I understand your nail trimming policy and totally agree its a grooming issues EXCEPT when something interferes with normal grooming practices such as this. I believe an exception should have been made. Anyways he passed away from cancer probably brought on from that condition as well but alas he is gone and part of my heart with him.

Records
Initially I was told by a rep that they just need North creek records, no one asked me how many facilities our dog had visited in the past two years, which delayed the process by several hours. If the first rep had said “we need to receive all medical records from any and all medical providers” I would have in that moment given all numbers and contact names immediately vs waiting to find out hours later that they needed records from other vet clinics. My dog needed immediate surgery and it was stressful already, then to add the stress of having to call back repeatedly to Trupanion and contact several Vet clinics also to verify that they sent the documents needed. The process Could have be much more smooth with better first line communication.

Excellent explanation
Rhonda explained the situation to me very well (my dog actually had procedures with two different diagnoses...two lumps, different dx) so the deductible was applied to both. I really like the fact that Trupanion's deductibles are for the lifetime condition, not an annual. Plus, Rhonda was very nice and was concerned about Misty's well-being now.

Very helpful
Shina was very helpful. She listen to my concerns and sent information to the claims supervisor about them, Within that day I received confirmation on my claim and my concerns where address. I feel you have a great employee in China. She is the type of asset that will only save and earn more money for your company. the only thing I recommend for future clients is that you add a wellness package to you service with a $250.00 yearly deduction. I will be getting a new pup soon and this service will determine who I get the pet insurance from. Check out Nationwide pet insurance for an example of this coverage. Thank you for all your care with my dog Dakota she has need you insurance more than I could have know. Thank you Kathleen Ford
