I was sitting on a bunch bills
I was sitting on a bunch bills from when I took my fur baby into the Dr because he was having issues and I decided to turn the bills in for a claim,it was the complete opposite of what I thought was going to happen. I deal with employees insurance all day for my job so I know insurance companies do NOT like to pay out and they will fight you for everything. Not only did Trupanion do the complete opposite of that they- paid everything and automatic deposited my money in less then a week and it was the first time I ever made a claim. I AM so happy that I picked trupanion as our insurance on our fur babys!!

We have never had pet insurance before but when we got Roxy as a puppy we decided that we would try it out. What a fortunate decision on our part as before Roxy reached the age of 1 she was having some front end lameness. Trupanion has been excellent through our journey which involved surgery. The service we have received has been outstanding and made us believers in pet insurance. Kim & Robyn

Highly professional
Have been very happy with Trupanion, the employees I have spoken with over the phone for the last seven years have always been highly professional as well as kind and compassionate. My dog passed away last night and Chantel was kind and sensitive on the phone. My claims experience has been good with my dog as well as a second dog and a cat. Claims are processed and paid fairly quickly, sometimes super fast...I have had some paid same day I submitted them. Even if your claim gets denied, there is an appeal process and your denial can be overturned if you have the documentation and get the correct info from your veterinarians to the underwriters. Some companies will go out of their way to deny claims and make you fight to use the coverage you paid for. Trupanion does not operate that way, they truly care about their policyholders and our pets. Of course it is a business, but I honestly do not think they are ever happy about denying coverage to anyone.

True to word
I strongly suggest you review Tessa's file at Trupanion and you will see that your company is true to its word when it comes to providing insurance coverage for Tessa. She has been determined to have and immune def when she was very young. I was fortunate to have secured insurance Trupanion when we first got her and it has been a blessing (not only for us but for Tessa). I hate to think what would have happened to Tessa had someone other than us got her and didn't obtain pet insurance. I did not maintain an exact accounting of cost but my educated guess is some closing in on $16,000+. Not once did Trupanion sidestep covering allowable cost. For that Tessa, my wife and I can not find the words to justify how we have been so blessed to have chosen Trupanion. Thank you for your total support.

Olivia was excellent to deal with and very helpful however issues with claim reps still always my complaint, Long delays ,mistakes and unnecessary reasons to have to appeal Frustrate myself as well as the veterinarians and their staff

Dan tried but need to transfer me to claims person. Dan and the woman I was transferred to were great. She listened to what I was asking and saying. She clearly went over my concerns and about the claim. Her ( can't remember her name)and Dan were great. I appreciate the time they took to clarify my concerns.

Claim
I was denied a claim a few years ago on my cat Ellie. I'm still paying on that credit card bill and I truly believe that I was denied wrongfully. I live on disability and my cat are my life but I cannot get out of debt because of this hospital bill. The doctor doesn't want to sign anything and I feel that this is very unfair
