Pets Best Insurance company was recommended to me by a veterinary technician and I couldn't be happier. It is extremely easy to make a claim and they have processed my claims quickly and paid the promised amounts without hesitation or hassles. I couldn't be happier.
Great Insurance for puppers
We have been using healthy paws for our two boston terriers for a few years now. Our boston boy has not used his policy at all, while our lady boston has had to have multiple surgeries and is allergic to just about everything. Healthy Paws has been great for both of our little ones. The claims are processed quickly with no hassle and compensation is sent out quickly. I was skeptical about pet insurance but after our experience, I feel like it is an absolute necessity, and would highly recommend healthy paws.

Both of my Boxers are insured with Healthy Paws for the last 10 years, and I cannot stress how important it is to get pet insurance as soon as you get a pet. I have filed multiple claims on both dogs, and have never been denied reimbursement. I used it for ortho issues, stroke (FCE) and physical therapy, cancer with one, then I just find out yesterday that the other one has a tumor on his thyroid gland and it will need to be surgically removed and go to pathology to see if it is malignant. Healthy Paws will pay for all of this. It is peace of mind knowing that you can properly care for your pet and that you don't have to let them die because treatment is not affordable.

filing a claim was easy and a quick turn around for payment. I really like the option of direct deposit as well. I had to call customer service about adding to the claim and how my benefit work. they were very helpful and caring about my dogs case. I highly recommend them.
Waste of time and money
Denied claims for being a prior condition when there was no diagnosis prior to insurance being purchased Was not given the oppertunity to appeal or explain the claim.

My experience with Healthy Paws had been very positive. Healthy Paws has provided financial protection against my Shih Tzu's many unexpected veterinary expenses. In June 2024, my cat accidentally ran into something and scuffed it's head. In February 2025, he started sneezing. Both times I took him to the vet. I had forgotten to file the June claim, so I filed it along with the February claim. I was pleasantly surprised I was still able to file--I mean, I rightly should be able to. But, companies can have strange loopholes to not pay you. I was thankful PetsBest was still able to file my claim, even 9 months later.

Quick and Easy
The latest claim I filed was for an ear infection. Like all previous claims, the process was very easy and the settlement process was very quick. I highly recommend Pets Best to all of my fellow pet owners.

I've never used pet insurance before but decided it might be a good idea when we brought our new Frenchie fur baby home. Unfortunately, we did have to file our first claim relatively quickly, but everything went very smoothly. The filing process was easy, the communication with my vet and I was timely and clear. There was a slight delay, so they informed me of that via email to keep me updated with the status. And finally, once the claim was approved, it was explained very precisely and clearly, so there were no questions as to what was covered and what wasn't or why. So far, so good!!
Golden Retriever with Cancer
Our beautiful 6 year old golden retriever was diagnosed with cancer. He was so young and I knew we needed to fight this disease. Luckily, we have insurance through Healthy Paws. They have been an amazing partner in Duke’s treatment! Once I had the paperwork from the vet I needed, filing a claim with Healthy Paws and receiving reimbursement was seamless. This organization is caring and compassionate about dogs and it shows in how they deal with dog parents. If it wasn’t for their support during my boy Duke’s journey I am not sure where we would be right now. It’s truly a blessing Duke is happy, playful, strong and definitely a joy in our lives. I am so fortunate to have friends recommend Healthy Paws to us. I highly recommend Healthy Paws to anyone!
