"This is first time I've filed a claim for services for Max and Pepper since joining Pets Best. I called Customer Service to verify several charges and services and the staff member was welcoming and knowledgable. The refund form is simple to complete, the response back was so much faster than other companies, and the explanations were easy to understand. The refunds were deposited directly into my account. I'm pleased with our decision to switch to Pets Best."
They're scam! Beware!!
My new kitten was only 3 months old at the time he got sick sonwe took him to the emergency vet for the first time he ever saw any vet. They kept emailing me for missing paper wotks that I have submitted. It took me same 7 emails, same 5 phone calls and one month for them to tell me that they won't approve me because it's an pre existing illness! Mind you this is the first time, he ever got sick or seeing the vet!! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!

The whole process was quick and easy. I submitted the claim online and had my refund is a few days. I received the expected amount as written on the policy.

I had to cancel the insurance as I wasn't going to pay for something that was taking over 1 month to get reimbursement. I would submit everything they asked for only to receive an email saying they were missing information that I knew I sent and had record that I sent it. Their live chat is terrible as no one is available during the open hours. The email responses are not much better as these are vague and not helpful. There was no simple and quick reimbursement as everyone has said.

I am extremely impressed with the fast turnaround on claims review and payment. I have had Healthy Paws for a number of years for my pets and am very happy. I like the fact there is no yearly maximum payment and you can adjust your deductible and payout percentage. They even followed up to ask how my pet was doing after claims reviews. Alternate medicine is also covered. I am very glad I have Healthy Paws behind me and would recommend them to pet parents!

Makes a difficult situation better
It is difficult to have a sick pet but Pets Best insurance makes filing the claims very easy and processes them very quickly. They make a tough situation much easier. Highly recommend!

Great Experience
The process was so simple: I uploaded a copy of the paid invoice and the completed a short description of the services received. Within a day or two I received an email saying that the services were approved and the next week I received a check. Easy peasy and this takes away so much of the sticker shock that can come with veterinary care.
Stay Away from Pets Plus Us Canada
I was a loyal customer for six years, keeping up with all premiums on time. My dog had no prior accidents or illnesses—until recently, when she began showing symptoms of a possible back injury. Despite that, Pets Plus Us denied coverage for all diagnostic tests, to exclude illness and now needs a MRI, simply because no vet report explicitly used the word “accident.” All attempts to determine what was wrong were rejected, even though vets clearly suspected a back trauma.

Great experience so far
"I recently signed my new puppy up for pets best because I was previously using Odie for my cat and I have had nothing but horrible experiences with them. They have poor communication and their claims take months unless you email with a complaint, then they expedite it. I have had such an amazing experience with my first claim for my puppy that I've now added my cat on too, and plan on cancelling Odie. I received communication before my claim was processed letting me know that there may be a delay in processing, but it only took about 2-3 weeks for them to process.
