Exceptional Insurance -- Nationwide
I have the Nationwide policy that pays 90% on all claims. They do not pay for grooming, etc. But all health related items are paid at 90%. They do not charge based on claims but age. I had policy with Nationwide prior to this one that pays 90% and they still have it (I believe) and pays a lower percentage -- same service and claim rating as insurance I now have.

Easy process
This was my first time submitting a claim. I can't believe how easy it was through the Trupanion app. From submitting the claim to getting approved for payment was one week. Thank you for making a horrible situation end with a great result. I highly recommend Trupanion.

Overall pretty satisfied
Generally, have been quite happy with ASPCA pet insurance. They are good about reimbursing vet expenses - based on the plan I have for both dogs. You have to be aware of the type of plan you have and what it covers but they are pretty good about explaining. I submit through my vet, so it's very easy. I feel, like most retirees, it's a little pricey on a monthly basis but has certainly helped out in the long run.

Trupanion comes through again
I wasn't expecting to receive that much insurance money when I filed my claim for the emergency vet visit I completed with my Cavapoo, Lucca. He was having difficulty going to the bathroom and needed medical attention. I wasn't thinking about filing a claim during the hours I waited for him to be seen and provided for until I woke up the next morning and remembered that Trupanion is there for me. I filed the claim and they provided a substantial amount to cover my expenses at the emergency vet. I am both relieved and grateful that I have this insurance coverage for my pet.
Overall
I couldn't have a better insurance. Getting the insurance was a breeze. I got a great deal for 2 dogs. Pricing, ease of submitting a claim, reimbursement and coverage of everything from care to follow up to therapy after surgery. I couldn't be happier.

Nemo's Vet visit
It made going to the vet stress-free and easy! I was able to worry about my cat Nemo's health instead of his vet bill. The vet hospital being able to use direct billing saved me from remembering to submit a claim later. Also I love that Trupanion will text me updates about my claims.

Reasonable Service with Trupanion
It would be nice if the adjusters/adjudicators followed the history of submissions. One invoice does not close the case and therefore the deductible shouldn't be applied a second time. And it shouldn't take several weeks before Trupanion owned up to its mistake. Also, Trupanion needs to cover more of the items on an invoice like ie. HST.
