Easy to work with, but miss the old Pet Plan

Pet Plan was is now under new ownership. When I renewed my policy this past February (2017), I lost a lot of the benefits that drew me to using them in the first place. They no longer offer 100% coverage, which was always a plus for me. It also almost doubled in price from what it cost me previously (granted my dog is also a large breed dog and 8 years old, so I could understand it going up some). I used to recommend them to all of my puppy buyers (I am a breeder), but now I mention them along with the other insurance companies that basically offer the same benefits, since they used to be the only company that had a 100% coverage option and now no one does.
They are still extremely fast with processing claims, which is a huge plus. They are also very convenient and allow you to submit your claim online which makes it even easier.

The next time I get insurance for one of my dogs, there is a strong possibility that I will be switching companies unless their premium goes down or they go back to 100% coverage being an option.

Thanks for this review! As a breeder, I appreciate your opinion. I'm considering getting another dog and comparing pet insurance companies. My current dog is with PC Insurance (now Pet's plus Us) and have looked into Pet Plan. Can you tell me what company you would choose if you had the choice? Thanks!
