Pets Plus Us | Pet Insurance Review

I have three bulldogs that are covered through pet plus us -my oldest plan is coming up on five years in September. We have had a number of unexpected medical things arise over the last almost 5 years with each of our dogs, everything from ear infections, heart condition, skin issues, eating a foreign object, I fall from a window and our most recent and most expensive surgery yet is a TPLO knee surgery under our youngest canine that is just over a year old. First and foremost, I want to say that PET plus us has been there when we truly needed them the most like everyone else we have been struggling. I myself have a heart condition and that interferes with how much work I can do with a disability myself so having good coverage plan that I can count on For my three canines means more than words can say as I could not have any more children after a cardiac arrest I had .. the medical care that my canine have needed. I would not be able to achieve without my insurance plans. Every time I have spoken to any of the staff at PET plus as they have been none other than welcoming fantastic at getting back to me with answers to my questions or clarifying, they are quick at paying back claims and easy submissions through their portal. And one of the best things is that they are very affordable now I will admit that each year premiums do rise with the cost of inflation.. and it is starting to become a little heavy on the bank account with three dogs being covered, but so far they have been very reasonable rates.. I really hope they continue to be reasonable with their rates as many people like myself have more than one pet.. I think the goal between owner and a good insurance is that we are coming together to ensure the medical care that are beloved for babies need when they arise can be taken care of this means less animals being surrendered to shelters and more owners able to care for their fur baby until it is time to say good bye and rest asured pets plus us is there for you when that time comes too Thanks pets plus us 💕 please keep the amazing coverage and affordable rates and amazing communication and friendly staff couldn’t send a bigger recommendation hands down 5 stars! My cat needed a biopsy and the least of our concerns was our policy or money. We knew pets plus us had our back and they delivered. I def recommend them.

Pets Plus Us saved us over $55000 over two Bernese Mountain Dogs between 2022 and the present. The first Bernese Mayday became ill with cancer of the spinal cord. She was 4 years old and was given 4 months to live. She started radio therapy (6 sessions) along with chemotherapy. After approximately six months was given a clean bill of health REMISSION! About 9 months later the cancer returned and we were back into chemo. Mayday did six more rounds of chemo and unfortunately succumbed to the disease. Pets plus Us reimboursed us 80% for her treatment. Last spring our other Bernese Stella tore a ligament in her back left leg and after several months of treatment was operated on to repair the injury. At the same time she was diagnosed with an enlarged gall bladder and needed to be seen by another specialist with follow up. All of these treatments were covered under our policy with Pets Plus U Leave it to say that the cost of the insurance has been covered many time over and that our furry friends have been well treated with the help of their insurance. WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENT ..

Getting pet insurance is not an expense that most people want to pay for. But my 2 year old Bernese Mountain Dog has had some health issues the past few months, that have resulted in $12k+ of vert bills since last October. If it wasn't for having Pet Plus Us, I don't think Lou would still be around! So I am very grateful. They are quick to return with a response, and quick to refund the money that I have had to pay up front. I would recommend to anyone!

I really don't trust this insurance company. Every time I submit a claim, you'll never know if they'll cover the costs or come back with something new and denying the reimbursement. They've changed my policy twice and both I've proved that they were wrong. I really don't recommend to anyone and look for a serious insurance instead of Petsplusus.
