took over my coverage and dropped coverage as soon as it was renewal time
I was with PC Pet Insurance - was quite happy with them. Pets Plus bought them out. As soon as my policy was at the year mark, I received an email stating that my rates were remaining the same but that they would no longer be covering 80% of my bills, they would instead be dropping to 50%...again.....don't worry...your rates aren't changing. Completely unacceptable. I am switching companies.

Great company with Excellent coverage and affordable!
I really love Pets Plus Us- The agents are fantastic to deal with. I work at a Vet clinic so I am in contact with them regularity. They are extremely helpful and pleasant. My dog is young and luckily nothing major has gone wrong with him, however the minor claims I have submitted have been processed without any issues. I do wish however that they would have better dental coverage** Would definitely recommend
Monthly Cost
Monthly costs vary based on your pet’s species, age, and location, as well as your chosen plan. Customize coverage to suit your pet’s needs and your budget.
Coverage
You have a co-pay of 10%, 20% or 30%.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill and includes coverage of exam fees and taxes.
Payout Limits
Annual limit of $5,000 in Accident Only coverage, or $7,500 or $15,000 in Accident & Illness coverage annually, depending on your chosen plan.
Deductible
$100 – $700 age-based annual deductible.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
There is no upper age limit.
Waiting Period
Coverage begins after 48 hours for accidents. A policy waiting period of 14 days applies for illnesses.
Exclusions
All pet insurance plans have limitations and exclusions. Medical Conditions that are noted, symptomatic or diagnosed prior to enrollment, or during a waiting period are pre-existing to Coverage and not eligible for reimbursement.
All Accident & Illness policies are underwritten upfront so pet owners are aware of any pre-existing conditions that will not be covered prior to making a claim.
