Pets Best is gone down hill 😢

This pet insurance company used to be great. I’ve been with them for over 15 years, but lately things have really gone downhill. The app has become a total disaster compared to previous years — it only works when it wants to. Claims that used to take just a few days are now taking weeks or even months, even for simple vaccination reimbursements. It’s just not the same company experience anymore. I’m still staying with them hoping things improve, but so far I honestly haven’t seen much change. Even customer service has gotten worse compared to what it used to be. Maybe it’s because the company has grown so much over the years, I don’t know, but I truly hope they can get things back on track.

So Glad I have Pets Pest!

Pets Best is GREAT! I dont know what I would have done without their coverage. They have covered all of my dog's illnesses since we signed up when Kobe was just a baby. From sick vet visits, surgery and even rehab, its never a problem. I am also so grateful that their submission and reimbursement process is so easy. I wish so many other things in my life were this easy. Please continue doing all the great things you do!

Stellar health insurance

"I have been a loyal customer of Pets Best for over 8 years, all three of our pets are insured. Luckily they've all been very healthy but I always trusted our insurance to stand by us if the time came. Recently my beloved dog had not just one major medical issue but two emergencies back to back. Pets Best has shown to be an outstanding partner in my pets health care, truly I'm so happy. The process to submit a claims is so easy and their interpretation of benefits so fair. I am so blessed that this company is a serious, and very correct, upstanding insurer. I believe my dog will make a full recovery and this stressful situation was made so much less so thanks to Pets Best "

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Get a quote for specific information on waiting periods in your state.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
