Nationwide | Pet Insurance Review

After losing a dog to cancer I couldn't afford to treat, I started getting Nationwide pet insurance on all my pets. I no longer have to worry about not being able to afford treatments to make them feel better or to heal them. I feel this is one way I can say "Too bad Cancer, WE WIN!" I recommend it to everyone from the time they are ready to bring home their new pet. My pets are like my children and deserve the best care.

I cannot say enough good about Nationwide Health Insurance! It stands head and shoulders above other pet insurances! And it is a total shame that it SO FAR SURPASSES any commercial human health insurance currently available!

I have never had pet insurance before, but when we got our puppy last year, I signed up for Nationwide. I am so very glad I did! Turns out our beloved girl has had more visits to the vet than any of our past dogs. Payment has always been prompt, the staff is very helpful, the app easy to use and since we are on a fixed income, our insurance has let us get Sophie the appropriate care without putting us into debt. Thank you Nationwide!

I had VPI insurance for years, and was satisfied with them. Since Nationwide has taken over, things have gotten even better! The customer service, ease of use of the website and claims process, the transparency in coverage, and the follow up is absolutely incredible. We just had an expensive surgery for our dog, and knowing we had coverage was such a blessing. We know friends who have had to make difficult financial decisions when these things come up about their pets, and we never even had to worry about that. It allowed us to just focus on doing the best thing for our pet, and taking care of him. My vet told us we were lucky to have Nationwide, and that it’s the best insurance he’s seen for pets. I posted on FB about the wonderful experience we had, and since then a friend reached out to ask some questions and ultimately sign her puppy up with Nationwide! Thank you!
