Timely, Professional claims servaice

So glad we have Nationwide Pet insurance. Claims are always processed timely. Payments are made electronically. Seamless. I don't need to do anything.

Wonderful

I am so happy that I chose Nationwide for my pups insurance coverage. I am more than satisfied with the prompt attention given to the claims. Customer service is wonderful and eager to help with anything I have concerns about. The 24/7 vet line is especially reassuring and I am grateful for it.. Luckily I have only needed to call it once, but it was comforting to speak with a professional in an emergency situation!

Awesome insurance & customer service!

ACL surgery was fully covered, submitting claims is easy and they get handled very quickly. Feeling good because our 4-legged boy is well protected and cared after when he needs it.

Great insurance, pays as stated with no holdups

Great pet insurance, pays exactly how they state in policy with no hold ups or bs like other insurance companies. filling out and filing a claim form is extremely easy. The only thing I would change is the waiting time for each claim to be paid. 99% of the time they take between 25 and 29 days to pay a claim. When it's simple as annual blood work or routine exam you still have to wait almost 30 days.

Best thing I could have ever done is insure my pets with Nationwide.

Having the insurance provided a great deal of comfort knowing that I could provide for my pets in the best manner possible when they were sick and in their wellness exams. Filing a claim is very easy.

Coverage

Nationwide offers a variety of plans offering varying levels of coverage. The company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness, offers 90% reimbursement for accident, injury, illness and wellness care, inclusive of exam fees. All Nationwide members have complimentary 24/7 access to vethelpline.

Payout Limits

Depending on the plan selected, there may be annual benefit limits or per incident benefit allowances. There is no annual limit for the company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness.

Deductible

Annual deductibles range from $0 to $1,000. Most popular annual deductible for Whole Pet with Wellness is $250.

Age Limits

No age restriction to enroll in company’s most popular plan, Whole Pet with Wellness. Other plans may have age restrictions.

Waiting Period

14-day waiting period after application approved and payment of premium is received.

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered on any plans (if a condition is curable, it may be eligible for review if pet remains treatment-free for at least six months). Whole Pet with Wellness covers nearly all veterinary expenses. Notable exclusions include boarding and grooming.
